Eclectic place. Food is good, but a little different than expected. Example, the lasagna had yellow cheese. It was really good but if you run the straight and narrow you might not like it. I definitely plan to go back

I love Grandlunds! My friends and I have gone to tea there for years. My book club went yesterday, and had the most beautiful tea! The presentation was gorgeous, and the scones, salad, tea sandwiches and desserts were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!

Went in for lunch today with my wife. Haven’t been here for about 15 years. I always wondered what this place was like 30 years ago. Maybe it may have had candy or pies behind the displays? They are all filled with knick nacks now. Maybe it’s not our thing but the place looks like Grandma’s house/antique store overflowing with plastic flowers everywhere. I’m sure some of the older crowd would like it but ambiance wise it’s not for us. Still we tried to keep a positive vibe and soak in the visuals because we respect that it’s a small business and a historical place. When we sat down the table smelled like it was wiped down with a sour rag. The staff were very friendly even though we could tell they were short staffed. They were not busy at the time, only 3 other guests there. They took our order right away and the wait wasn’t that bad at all. Only took about 15 minutes. I got the California dip sandwich and my wife got the Texmex sandwich. My sandwich was great, toasty roast beef with green chili and oju sauce. My wifes however was disgusting. It was an open face sandwich, turkey drowned in this sort of I believe southwest sauce (way too much sauce) with toasted cheese on top. Came with potato salad which wasn’t that great. It looked good to me because I like cheese then I tried it. I can stomach almost anything but even I couldn’t eat it. It was the sauce that did it. Wife asked to take it off the bill as we only took 3 bites. After a little discussion between the manager and the wife on what Texmex is, the manager was still very polite and took it off the bill for us. She also offered to make her something else but my wife was too grossed out by then.

I really liked the bread, the turkey breast and the pasta! The turkey was not dry!!! Which is a huge win for me because I am picky for that sort of stuff. The pasta wasn’t swimming in oil or exploding with seasonings. Its was absolutely perfect and delish!!! The lovely server was amazing too! On the phone and when I went in for pickup. Awesome service and food, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Beautiful place and good food. I’ve been coming here for years and I always get the Island chicken. Since recent change of owners or due to the pandemic, they are understaffed so the wait was a little longer than usual. Overall it a great atmosphere just sitting inside looking at all the beautiful decorations.

The dine-in experience was a delight. The interior space is clean and has a lot of character. They decorate according to the season. Food takes a bit to prepare, and we were not disappointed. The Southwest Sandwich is absolutely delicious! The toasted cheese on the sandwich and burger was absolutely amazing!!! Would come here again just for the sandwich and pasta salad on the side.

This place has charm! Had a chance to experience Granlund’s for the first time, before the Christmas decorations were changed out. Granlund’s has an assortment of chocolates for sale (dark and milk), an ice cream parlor, and other items for sale. Along with a breakfast and lunch menu. We had coffee, juice, specialty toast (walnut and currant), and bagel and cream cheese.

Food was great, but service was a bit slow. Had to request ice tea refill a couple of times before server remembered to come back and refill and we had already started our meal. Then took awhile before she bought our bill. NOTE: They do not split the bill for the table- one bill for the table is what server said.
