Besides a few shortcomings, our overall experience at the Quarry was enjoyable. We dined with a group of 12 and arrived on time for our reservation, but we received our entrees two hours later.
Service was very slow, mostly due to low staff available on a Friday evening. Food was delivered in 5 minute increments, so by the time the last person got their meal, the first to be served were already finished. There was live music on the patio, which was a nice touch, but was so loud that we could not hear the person sitting next to us talk.
On the positive side, the food tasted good, the drinks were affordable and well made, and the view of the golf course was serene.
In the end, I would recommend an enjoyable evening at the Granite Grille at the Quarry on a weekday evening before it gets too busy.

Love going to the Quarry Granite Grill. Nothing beats this beautiful view and amazing food. Particularly love when they have great specials for food and drinks, as well as live music! The golf course is amazing and so is the restaurant. Tonight we had the best service from Deana! But honestly, we get great service every time we’re here. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should stop in.

The Granite Grille is located inside the beautiful Quarry Golf Club, a few miles east of Waco. The course is partially surrounded by an equally beautiful HOA of homes. The club house / event center is large, modern, and tastefully executed. Within the clubhouse is the must-visit Granite Grille. The grille has indoor seating of course, but also has a wonderful, partially-enclosed patio dining area complete with a full bar, outside tables, and great view of the course. The white russian and the brandy Alexander were both the best in the area. The food menu is simple yet complete. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and presented in a top-notch manor. The food, in short – was wonderful and the facility as a whole is very classy.
A few miles southeast of Canton, and totally worth leaving the cramped, bustle of “the city”. Check the online menu and come dine in the fresh, clean air served by an outstanding, friendly staff in rural, Ohio.

Selena and Lizzy were great. Selena waited on our table and Lizzy was the bartender making amazing drinks. Food was delicious and service was outstanding. 10/10 would take my family again.

Came here today, I come all the time and this time we order and waited an hour for our food, there were 3 other tables, we put out food in second and got it last, the fourth table that showed up 10 min after we ordered, got their food and left before we even got our food. The waiter couldn’t even give us a reason why we didn’t get ours first. All we got was 2 chicken wraps. The food was pretty cold and barely any sauce in the wraps. She had said she would half our check for the inconvenience and just didn’t do it. Also a tall single vodka soad is $5.50 but a double is $13.00, keep that in mind.

Nice outdoor seating! Food is good, they have a decent wine list. You can’t beat $20 for a bottle of wine! However, the cigar smoking that is allowed is a problem. Both my husband and I have some asthma issues. We asked to be seated as far away from the smokers as possible. The server was very accommodating and friendly. . . But you can still smell it. We were going to get our food to go but fortunately they left and we were able to enjoy the rest of our dinner there. It really shouldn’t be allowed, period. Other than that it is nice and we would go more often if it wasn’t for that. Hope this is something management can take into consideration.

So let me start this review DOES NOT reflect out waitress. She on a scale of 1 to 10 she was a 15 no two ways about it.
This was our first time there though our friends had been there prior.
We place our drink order and those came out fine. After reviewing the menu just wanted something simple. So I ordered Fish and Chips but requested rice -vs- fries. Again no big deal. Our party asked about the vegetable of the day which was green beans but they only had two orders left. Again no big deal. So all place our order. A few minutes later our waitress comes back to inform us “We are out of fried rice” now keep in mind numerous dishes have that as an included side. So we all have to change that. I requested shrimp and the others requested mashed potatoes. Appetizers comes out; fried pickles; those were really good. After a few minutes our waitress proceeds to state “We are out of mashed potatoes” So now they are out of green beans, fried rice, and now mashed potatoes. As we sit there we notice a table close to use who arrived after us has now gotten there order and we have yet to get ours. The food runners start bringing out our sides. Now this is where it gets ridiculous My girlfriend ordered a side salad with oil and vinegar. The food runner proceeds to state “We are out of oil and vinegar what else would you like?” So now we are at a place that has no fried rice, green beans, mashed potatoes, and now has no oil and vinegar. Our waitress was a trooper about all this. In the mean time the table close to use gets there food, eats, pays, and leaves. We have yet to get ours. Finally our food arrives. My fish and chips that I ordered w/o fries come with fries, my shrimp, and my side of soup. All of which were cold. At this point it would be pointless to say anything so I made jokes about “Well I ordered fried shrimp but got shrimp cocktail.”
What we did have was not bad overall in all honesty. I did ask the waitress to take a note to the chef where I told him to go back to McDonald’s cause obviously this is to much for him to handle. Be it right or wrong just something needed to be said. The right thing that should have been done would have been to have the manager come out and talk to us without asking but that did not happen.
The positive is this though our waitress was able to get all our meals comped for all the hassles and issues. For that we are all grateful and was not expected.
Will we go back again yes as I am a firm believer of things do happen and I will give a place a second chance. So we will see when that is and how it goes. Atmosphere was very nice!
