Granite City in Troy is a wonderful restaurant. The staff is attentive and they’re prepared. They’re polite. I really enjoy the food here. However, I have a huge issue with the restroom, specifically the men’s room. It is not a clean place by any standards. It’s not filthy but I surely hate it. The sink felt like if I wash my hands they would get dirty pictures say a lot.

Another fantastic experience at this restaurant. Brought my family here. I had the chicken Tuscan, wifey had the barbecue chicken flatbread, and my daughter had the build your own burger. All food came out hot and full of flavor. Plus, it is October 1 so we got the dessert special too – Caramel apple bread, pudding – well for sure come again. Kaylin was very kind, checked on us regularly and was very efficient.

We came here for a group gathering after church. The tall young lady who served our entire group did an amazing job. Didn’t mess up not one order. On the downside of things, the kitchen dishwasher can do a better job cleaning some of the dishes that came out to our tables. I definitely don’t want to eat off a plate that has previous diners food still stuck to the plate. Overall 7/10 experience. Great front of the house team and kitchen.

I visited this location for the first time during happy hour on a Friday after work. My server Kayla was OUTSTANDING! In a world where good customer service is hard to find she is a refreshing reminder that it still exists. She was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. Party of three went there last night and it was fantastic. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the margaritas were phenomenal, best we’d had in years, and the portions were just right. Our server, Megan, was awesome, would love to have her again next time.

My server Audrey was not friendly at all. From the moment sat down I felt judged. I had had to flag her down for water and finally order. As I was dining alone. I watched her pat close attention to the other 3 tables in her section which were occupied by multiple people and each table had customers that did NOT look like me. There was one table that had 3 people that looked like me but the other three at that scam’s table did not. I guess she ASSumed I wasn’t going to tip. Do her service was LACKLUSTER. I still remained polite and respectful. Her attitude changed once fence my 22 percent tip. Then was all smiles. So my suspicion was correct. She stereotyped me. I will NEVER step foot in this location again. Nobody should be treated the way I was.

Service and food were good. Promt seating, great server with a cool micheal Myers tattoo!! She was kind and patient even with my 2 children who were still overstimulated from our Santa pics at jcpenny that ran late. They enjoyed their Alfredo so much so that the 7 year old wanted another helping lol. We had the biggest nachos, only complaint is where is the chicken? They are super skimpy on the shredded chicken, sour cream and salsa. Everyone was courteous and nice from the introduction to the goodbye. Clean bathrooms, and clean environment. Kid friendly, nice adult drink options, and great for family gatherings and or a date night.
