LOCAL GUIDE LG
This is exactly what we ordered. However, the restaurant had a rather unusual odor. It smelled as though the carpets hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. My husband gave it a try anyway. Hopefully the food was better than the atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant, you can tell it gets packed; we had reservations for 5:45, and there was already some people waiting on a Wednesday night. Service was good, food was even better, and the ambience was very nice with some live music singing very close to us, with good options of guitar music.
All four dishes seemed pretty good, no complaints from any of the group; we had a shareable pretzel with cheese, which was very tasty and right out of the oven.
All dishes were very appealing, since we had a pasta dish, it came with garlic bread. The dessert was on spot, also warm, right out of the oven along with vanilla ice cream. Good choice when visiting Smyrna or Nashville.

Came here for Sunday Brunch and I was pleased with my overall experience. The atmosphere is very calm and dining area is aesthetically pleasing. Our server was very friendly and attentive for the most part. She disappeared towards the end, but I assume it’s cause she had a lot of tables.
The brunch is served buffet style and due to COVID they make your plate as you move through the assembly line if you will. And everyone is wearing masks the entire time. It was a pretty quick process and very easy.
They had a plethora of food options, and most were tasty. My personal faves were the hash-brown casserole, the bacon was cooked perfectly, the sausage was good, and the fruit was fresh and sweet.
If you want an omelette or eggs Benedict you must order that from your server so we did and sadly those both were a bust. The eggs were over cooked in the omelette and the Benedict was lacked flavor.
Of course, the bottomless mimosas are worth the $10 too.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I felt like you get a large portion of food for the price.

I patronized this establishment for a family event. We had a fairly large party! One of our servers Ezra (beautiful name) showed such patience and grace with us. I haven’t experienced this level of service with such a big party in quite sometime. Ezra made a suggestion with food and drink and it was so amazing. I highly recommend this place for service, food and atmosphere. We went in on a Saturday night and it was packed. We did have reservations.

Did a reservation so seat6was quick. Hostess and waiter were friendly and prompt.
My sister ordered the chicken pot pie. I ordered the pot roast.
Chicken Pot Pie was soupy, crust was excellent but filling was more like a soup. She rated taste profile 7 of 10.
The Pot Roast (with garlic mashed potatoes, carrot slices and shoestring onions) was solid 8 of 10. Garlic lovers will love the dish.
For me, garlic was a little over powering and permeated rest of disk. HOWEVER, the roast beef was extremely tender and delicious.
Service was excellent. Will try this Granite City again next time I pass through and try something different. That will dictate whether we come or not.
Hope this is helpful.

The beers are very good! Tried a few different ones and didn’t regret any of them. The food is average. We ordered nachos and the bison burger and found them to be average as far as taste and quality. I had been one time before and ordered the shaved prime rib sandwich and it didn’t taste fresh. I recommend the spot for happy hour beers but if you are looking for food and cocktails, there are better options around. The staff is very friendly and attentive and I appreciated the level of service they offered us.

Went back for the cheeseburger lunch special. It was great. Nice smoked flavor to the meat. Good value for a good meal. Coffee was bold and crisp. Parking was great and the table was set in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff are courteous and prompt. Will try to return in the future.

Great Happy Hour selection! If you take advantage of their Happy Hour and daily specials you’ll be satisfied with both your drink and food options. Really enjoyed the pretzel sticks with beer cheese. Wasn’t a huge fan of the spinach and artichoke dip though so would pass on that. Chicken sliders were moist and flavorful, would recommend adding ranch if that’d something you like!
