This is a very nice upscale restaurant in Keene, NH. It is a definitive must for all visitors. I can recommend the grilled asparagus with manchego cream, the smoked duck breast, and the apple pie. These are just to die for. The ambience is fitting for couples and families alike, and you don’t have to be shy bringing your toddler. The bar features a variety of alcoholic AND non-alcoholic drinks, and the bar tender is available to offer his advice. Overall, a great experience for the taste bud and the soul.

What an amazing experience in dining. We did not have a reservation on a Friday night but we’re still able to be seated outside right away. Plan to stay awhile, and order at least one item from each section. We only ordered from three of the five but did order dessert. The food was exceptional, and a great exploration for the taste buds. Service was wonderful and efficient. The water is set in your table and they will fill your glass anytime they stop by. Definitely worth the time to experience the food and service here. The atmosphere is relaxed but refined, with new plates brought out for each portion of the menu. A family style serving or sharing if that’s how you choose to eat.

Absolutely spectacular! It’s pricey, but Absolutely worth every penny. Pasta was PERFECT and the fillet melts in your mouth! Can’t wait to go back!

Granita is my favorite place for a night out with my wife. The new General Manager, Nick is incredible with providing top notch service. The food, atmosphere and drinks are great. Glad to hear about their new Happy Hour as well!

Five stars is not enough. The staff at Granita are warm, kind, and attentive. Moe and her team are simply outstanding. The food is just as outstanding – some of the best I’ve ever had. The cheesecake was amazing. Knowing that the the money I paid for it will go to Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities made it even sweeter. Thank you for making our date night special.

Strange experience overall: We made 7:30pm reservations but happily chose to sit at the mostly empty bar- did not realize they would be repeatedly scraping dirty dishes within inches of our seats. Why would any “fine dining” restaurant scrape dirty plates IN the dining room, near guests, especially during peak hours?? They also stacked up dirty glasses by the bar and were so far behind on cleaning that the entire side counter was littered. (Bonus points for the server clearing plates that dumped someone’s used water glass into the plant right next to me on the bar!!) They brought over dirty dishes on trays and then immediately used the same dirty trays to serve fresh food and drinks. We shifted down a seat to get some space. The first few dishes were timed well, and then we waited 20 min for a small pasta plate and then even longer for the mains. The bartender was so quick to refill our waters that she filled my unfinished bourbon snifter with ice water but never even acknowledged the mistake.
Food: The focaccia was delicious. The mussels were good. The gnudi was very plain, but okay. Salmon with risotto was fine but nothing special. The 14oz. ribeye special ($75) came out in a huge platter with no spare room on the dish, the steak drowning in a wine reduction sauce, a huge pile of overcooked vegetables, and stale potato straws. It looked like someone helped themselves at a buffet.
The best thing we ate that day was the street corn dip…from the Mexican restaurant across the street!
We spent the evening laughing at our comically bad experience

What an incredible experience we had at Granita Enoteca.  We had reservations for Sunday evening so we could have the Family Style Dinner.  We had a great “front row” seat to the kitchen.  So much going on.  So much fun to watch.  We were seated at 7 pm and the restaurant had only the two seats left where we were seated.  We found out later that a large group of guests were there that night for a special wine club dinner.  The restaurant has the most amazing wine selection!  Our server suggested we consider the Family Style Dinner for two for $100.  What a great bargain that was!  We chose these dishes:  The autumn harvest salad; the most delicious focaccia, Ragu alla Bolognese, sea scallops (superb!); risotto and classic tiramisu for dessert!  One of the best meals we’ve had in a restaurant…ever!  We didn’t take many photos.  We were so engaged enjoying our food and watching all the activity!

Had an amazing night here, elegant and beautiful, with a staff that was on top of everything. Their food presentation, textures, complimenting tastes, and aroma makes them the best dinner I have ever had. Wonderful way to spend time with my gorgeous Goddess, definitely will return and soon.

UPDATE- OCT 2025:
I had previously left this review this summer after my experience trying to plan a rehearsal dinner. However, Nicolas the new general manager, reached out with a very sincere and kind apology and went above and beyond to makeup for the experience I had. It seems like management was rough back in June and hopefully Nicolas has the place set up for more success! The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside and the food is delicious. It may be worth giving them a look now knowing things have changed! 🙂

SPRING 2025-Brides take caution! We tried to host our rehearsal dinner there this past June because we loved the atmosphere and outdoor space. We started communicating with them over a year in advance. Moe was terrible to communicate with answering emails once every few weeks, blaming it on the lack of staff. When I did get answers, it was just another excuse as to why we didn’t have a menu yet. This went on from end of June when we met in person until September when there was finally a menu given to us and the price was almost as much as my wedding food per person!! Nothing close to what we talked to for price for person and way more food than I asked for. I then asked to adjust the menu with less options to aim towards our targeted price and it was another MONTH before she answered and at that time they claimed to accommodate the amount of guests wed have (30) we’d need to do a 1/2 or full buyout of the restaurant… nothing that was shared with me over the last 5 months of frustrating communication or even when we went in person. What a waste of my time!! Luckily, 2 other restaurants downtown were much more accommodating with 10x better communication.

Likely considered the only fine-dining spot in Keene, NH this place is outstanding on all levels. Easy reservation on a Friday date night, service was exceptional from the hostess to the waitress to the pleasant goodbyes when we finally left after a great 2-hour experience. Wine flight, house made focaccia, strawberry salad and the best scallops I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my fair share). The carrot-nage sauce that the scallops came nestled in had me using my wife’s spoon to get every last drop. Strawberry cheesecake to top it all off was the perfect ending. I loved this place when it was Nicola’s and I now love it as Granita’s. Could not recommend more if you’re looking for an elevated meal and experience in Keene.
