Walked in & there were maybe 3 other tables that were occupied, after scanning the menu I had told the young lady at the counter this was our 1st time here & ordered..
the food came out room temperature, I had to take my daughters plate of shrimp & fries back up to the counter to ask for them to heat it up for her … INSANE ..
I had the meatloaf & mashed potatoes
The meatloaf looked a day old & the food was barely warm .
Thank goodness I ordered a chicken breast , it was the only thing that came out hot (besides the fried pickles & stuffed jalapeños)& was actually really good .
Sucks this was the initial experience..

The chicken fingers tasted like chlorine, the Cole slaw had zero flavor, the fries were cold and so was the roll. For the $40 we paid for us to eat here, we could have went to Long John Silvers or KFC and had our food made to order and would have still spent less. We will NOT be back!

This place needs an overhaul big time. The menu needs some love as well. Everything is bland and 90 percent of the food came out lukewarm at best. The mac n cheese tasted like it came out of a off brand box mac n cheese. The catfish was decent and was the only thing that was actually hot when it arrived. The amount of positive reviews make me qyestion what people’s taste buds are like around here. The facilities also need a deep clean. This will not be a place we come back to unless we see a major overhaul. If you want amazing catfish, I recommend catfish basket in the northeast and golden corral would be a better overall option for this type of food. I understand why the prices are cheaper now. Hopefully they will fix these issues and add some level of creativity to the menu and seasoning.

For those visiting this restaurant for the first time, it’s important to know that you need to order and pay before sitting down, as there is no signage indicating this upon entry.
As for the presentation, the food was served on a disposable plate. I understand this may be part of their system, but personally I prefer places that use reusable plates and cutlery. This detail may not be important to some, but for me it does affect the overall experience.

I love the country styled food. I always go on tuesdays for the special and I always get the country fried steak the corn and the bread.
However…the service is questionable. We were there and drive through did not pay attention and the manager had to tell an employee to pay attention to drive through. The manager was sweet though and attentive it’s just the girls on the shift that did not seem to care.

We haven’t been here in years but decided to stop in to try their Turkey dinner. Grandy’s Turkey dinner is surprisingly tasty. And their pecan cobbler was the perfect dessert too! Wish they still offered a salad bar.

Food is still delicious but the restaurant needs renovations. Food portions are smaller and smaller, looks like half a scoop of mashed potatoes. Registers could not accept credit cards unless manually input. Bathrooms are run down.

Grandy’s is ok. Some of the food I really like but I’d stay away from the mac & cheese. The employees are great and they keep the restaurant clean. Something different than the regular burger joints.
