I’m not gonna lie. I came with low expectations. we got our order in at a decent time. The gentleman processed our coupons quickly, which was super helpful. Then we made our orders. A little surprised drinks don’t come with meals, but maybe that’s normal now. No complaint there just something to keep in mind. When we got our food, it was warm as to be expected, but it was pretty simple. Box eggs, powdered gravy, and frozen hash browns. I suppose that that’s what you should expect at $17.50. Eating the cinnamon roll you could literally crunch on the amount of cinnamon they had on that. Definitely my least favorite thing. The place looked very clean, but I do believe it’s because nobody was there on a Sunday morning. Last, staff was definitely not enthusiastic. In fact one of them was talking about hating being there. So I don’t believe they deserve a one, but they also don’t deserve it too more like a 1.5.

Grandy’s is a local staple apparantly the food they serve is decent its the worst not the best. To be honest it was originally described to people like 90’s early 2000 high school cafeteria food. And to be honest. Thats EXACTLY what it is foam co.partment plates and all. I got there for their country fried chicken special had cole slaw and the mashed potatoes. It was a legit throw back and I loved it. Unlocked memories of better/easier times to be honest. It was a pleasant surprise.

You can never go wrong getting a Chicken Fried Steak dinner from Grandy’s. Unfortunately they are far from extinct, but good news is this location in Bethany is amazing I love the staff and they always have the best southern-style dinners for the great prices from Grandys we all love. I also love the Chicken fried Steak Biscuits with a Cup of Gravy and some of that Sweet Southern Tea.

Honestly, I really love eating here and I come here couple times a week in the morning for their low-carb breakfast. The eggs are always super good and cooked. Amazingly. It’s literally the only place I go when I want eggs and bacon. Y’all should check them out. I’ve never had an order messed up here even when ordering dinner and lunch. Everything is always the way it’s supposed to be and honestly that’s hard for places nowadays so 10 out of 10 from me

The staff is always friendly, and my food always has to be freshly prepared. The catfish is good despite not being seasoned much. I’ve had the grilled chicken twice since it’s a healthy option, but it’s very bland. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, too. Yesterday was my first time eating inside at this location, and my main complaint is the soda fountain. It was leaking and has what appears to be mold above the grate, and the grate is filthy as well, so I didn’t purchase a drink. Now I’m wondering how clean the kitchen is. If I can clearly see how dirty the fountain is, then they can, too. Yet they’ve failed to do anything about it, which makes it seem like they don’t care. Because of that, I’m not sure when I’ll be returning to this location.
