The cashier here was new, her attitude and service was excellent, but the manager had horrible customer service. I went December 30, 2016 at 2:45pm. My mom and I spent over $30.00 in there and was going to buy more but after her rude demeanor we will NEVER return.

I recently went to the drive-thru at this location. It seems there have been some recent changes there. I received what I ordered (which I have ordered several times before), but when I got back to work and started eating it…nothing tasted the same as it used to. The Chicken that I ordered was not even edible and VERY tough to even try to chew and the okra looked as it was leftover from the day before. Just wondering if anyone else might have had a similar experience.

My husband and I have always loved the fried catfish because of the size and flavor. One of favorite reasons was that the fish was not salty! I have high blood pressure and retain fluid really easy. We went yesterday after church and the fish was extremely salty! We spent over forty dollars on the family box along with several sides. Another customer sitting across from us was upset because they didn’t put any meat on her plate and made her stand and wait while they waited on other customers and her food became cold on her plate. She said she’d never come back to Grandys! Neither will my husband and I and we’ve been frequenting this restaurant for years! Need some changes in your restaurant ! This is at the Monroe,La. Restaurant.

Not much to be said for the staff there. The prices are a little high for what I would term as mediocre food. I was forced to take 2 canned beverages that were taken inside with us, out to my truck or throw them away. I do not drink fountain beverages because they usually taste terrible. We finished our meal without a drink. We would gladly have poured our drinks into a glass if they didn’t want us to have the cans inside but, that option was not given. The employee that approached our table was a good 10-15 feet away as she pointed at us while loudly saying, “That’s not allowed, you can’t do that”. I had no idea what she was talking about. I happened to be feeding my grandchild off of my plate at the time so I thought she was referring to that. She claimed that it was store policy but, it was not publicly posted anywhere that outside beverages were not allowed. I’m surprised that I didn’t have to take my grandchilds sippie cup out as well. She was very rude, loud, and had no regard as to the attention drawn to us and the spectacle she created. We will not be visiting again.

Horrible, Horrible Horrible. Cold okra, baked beans were hard, green beans tasted like they came out of a can. Country fried steak was mushy. The whole restaurant from the tea spouts to the bathrooms we’re VERY unclean.

Good home cooked food. Have to eat there every Sunday. The cooks be throwing down in the kitchen. Everyone is moving fast so you can enjoy your food instead of the wait.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered my lunch which was white roasted chicken dinner. I got back to the office and opened box to find white fried chicken. I have been calling the restaurant for about 15mins and the line has been busy. I am very unhappy with my lunch. I did not want any fried chicken.
