Grandsons Buffet was great. Old fashion country cooking and sweet tea. Most everything was good, my favorite is the popcorn shrimp, some of the food was bland. I didn’t like the new buffet line up. It was different than before in the past. The

Building on the outside had barely any signs . Looked a little sketchy at first. When you go in it was nice. Very southern style barn. Wait staff was very friendly. Cleaned up plates and gave our drinks regularly. Food was delicious. Taste like home cooking. I had red velvet cake and a cookie for dessert. It was really good. Price was awesome.

The peach cobbler was fantastic! Grandsons come from a long line of buffets. Cason’s was the original country cooking buffet in Fayetteville. As the sign says, grandsons are who run these restaurants.

I stopped here to get a bite to eat, and the food was unbelievable. Everything was great. The fried fish and chicken were cooked to perfection the greens and cabbage, which gave that down south at grandma’s house taste. I tried just about everything they had to offer and was not let down at all. The flavor was definitely there. This place is right off 95. If you’re just passing through, stop in and grab a bite. The prices are very reasonable, and they are definitely a family-friendly restaurant. I will definitely be returning when driving through, and I’m in Philadelphia.

The kind of place you’d drive out of your way for, except you don’t even need to since it’s a minute from I-95.

If it had butt on the menu I’ll eat it that’s how good this place is.

It is really, really good, wear your stretchy pants. I don’t hit buffets often because I tend to go overboard, especially at lunch. But when I’m in the area, I’m coming back here EVERY time. Everything that I tried and that was a lot, was very good. I didn’t eat the livers, gizzard or trotters. Seafood was great, yard bird was great. Tea was great. Unfortunately, it was empty more than it wasn’t. Good desserts and there was salad…it may have been good, but always seemed full, with the 3 large steam tables full of great county cooking beckoning, I just missed it.

Fantastic southern comfort food selection. They dont skip corners, from amazing fried chicken, gizzards, meatloaf, collards, black eyed peas, the list goes on! Extremely family friendly. The baked dessert isn’t great, but the food is WELL worth it.

I really liked the food the only thing I noticed and didn’t like was that all of us who were black was in the back on the restaurant together and when we were walking out we noticed only white diners were in the front. Now I’m not one to usually say anything about race, but it was really weird especially in this day and age. However, with that said, all of the food was really really good with the exception of the cabbage. It needed some more love. It wasn’t nasty. It just needed more seasoning or something. Anyway, we will go back, and I hope that that is not the case next time as far as seating.
