8.1 is a fair rating. I’m a pizza snob so once you get past the 7’s you’re on a really good score.
Solid average NY pie. That’s not an insult. Too many pie shops around the ATL metro can’t meet that basic benchmark. This place does. Really happy to say that. It feels like a small local NY chain. Not gonna blow you away with uniqueness to the point where you gotta travel no matter where you are to get it, but it doesn’t need to be that. It is very good pizza and I’m sure it’s probably the best up this way in Dahlonega.
Light and sweet sauce that’s not thick and pasty. The char on the crust and under carriage is good. Right amount of of cheese.
Would absolutely come back if in the area again.

So I wanted to give this place another chance.I went in to eat lunch ordered a couple slices and a coke.First off the pizza was terrible floppy is a understatement. The taste was ok but the slices could have been rolled up it was so soft no crisp to be found.Also my coke tasted off not your normal coke.If I wasn’t so hungry I would have sent back.And yes I know good pizza since growing up in the bronx.If anyone thinks there pizza is good yikes all I can say.

My family and I were here in September and we ordered a a pizza that was half and half. The person put it in wrong and charged me. Afterwards, he said he did it wrong and offered to redo the charge. He said he deleted the previous charge but didn’t. I realized the double charge over a week later and went in to talk to them. They said they would take care of it. Now, over a month later I still haven’t received my refund. This pizza isn’t good enough for the price I paid. It’s definitely not worth double!

Stopped by for the first time to grab something quick and easy while I was running errands. So glad they sell by the slice. Toppings were very fresh and abundant with a perfect size crust. Seating is limited but the store is clean and well organized. Great customer service from the girl at the counter!

Grandma’s New York Pizza, it’s all that and a bag of chips!. Conveniently located at the Dawsonville Outlets area. Great pizza, I like it burned cause that’s how we do in New York. So they burnt it for me and it was delicious! Great crust, bottom we’ll done. They also have some really good desserts and pies! You gotta try this place out. Friendly staff, It really is good pizza. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow!! :O I’m originally from NJ and this is one of the first pizzas in the north Georgia area that reminds me of pizza from when I lived in NJ & NY. I was skeptical if the name was accurate, but it is & I will definitely be going back. Great pizza, thank you!!
