Grandma’s is a comfort, well-lit restaurant with a cozy fireplace and large screen TV. They offer a wonderful menu ranging from salads, wraps, pizzas and hand-pressed hamburgers, to wonderful dinner classics like pork chops and steaks. There is also a fun, vibrant bar area with seating and 2 more large screen TVs.
Just a few steps down from the bar is a lower lounge area with a pool table and stage for live music. Throughout the summer you can often enjoy local talent on the weekends. However, the stage is always open to all! Anyone passing through is welcome to get up there and share their musical talents.
The staff is phenomenal! Consisting mainly of family, they are friendly, energetic, informative, and will try to meet your dietary needs.
If you ever find yourself passing through Austin, NV on Hwy 50, Grandma’s is a definite must try!!

Five stars across the board. The food is extremely high quality and very fresh. Prices are very fair and there’s a wide drink selection with tons of spirits and even craft beer.
The mesium size pizza can feed 2-3 people. All the locals were ordering the pork chop dinner, which looked amazing. Service is fast and friendly, so much pride put into the business.
The atmosphere is really cool too. There’s a living room space with pool table, bar with juke box, and seperate classic café space. Very clean!

I was very impressed by this place, Brandon was running it all by himself, the place was pretty full and we all got our food and drinks so fast. My pizza was really good, I loved the thinly sliced pepperoni and the jalapeños were fresh with a perfect kick. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant!

A true jewel of a place!! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and a wonderful find at the end of a long day. We got the meat lovers pizza which was piled high with meat and the thin crust was perfect. Topped it with fresh oregano and enjoyed it with a delicious margarita. Others at our table had the pork chops which looked tender and juicy and the rib eye, both served with mashed new potatoes and a good looking mixed greens salad. Both people said their meal was amazing! We had so much fun meeting new friends and our only regret is that we probably will never pass that way again and won’t get the chance to try everything on the menu. Don’t miss this gem of a place!

Getting a meal and cocktail here is always a highlight of a visit to Austin. The same people that run the Cozy Mountain Motel have set up a restaurant and bar with some truly great food/drink options and a very welcoming atmosphere. I honestly wish I could get Grandma’s favorite pizza in Reno. Sarah (owner) takes her cocktails seriously, and her attention to quality ingredients definitely shows. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won’t be dissapointed.

I called because i was traveling across the state and lost service but they said come in and the reviews did not disappoint. This is by far the best place out here I’ve seen in the past 16 hours of driving through other states, small towns and desert. Definitely could be somewhere i would eat pizza back in the city I’m from if they existed back there. Staff was super cool too.

TJ makes a great thin crust pizza! This is the only spot in town for a meal and a cocktail. Great service, clean restaurant and good pizza and drinks. The dinner special was pork chops. We didn’t have it but the table next to us said it was good. Would stop here again! Not a lot of options out this way so this was a nice surprise!
