Good customer service. Fairly clean , it’s a carryout and fairly small inside. There was about a 20 min wait however the process seems to work with the ticket. The chicken shrimp cheesesteak was really good and steaming hot! . I would order again. My sister also enjoyed the fish. The fries however were not hot, they may have been good otherwise. It is street parking.

Grandma CC’s is a local place that is busting with flavor. The wings are delicious, not to greasy, and great size. The cheesteak eggroll is HUGE, and delicious, a nice bargain. The battered wings (garlic Parmesan) were tasty and coated well too! And the cheesesteak was a filled with everything I asked for, which is awesome given some places like to go lighter on the meat and toppings these days. Its pricing is reasonable and fair, everyone can find something that is tasty and affordable.

The location is right on Belair Road, you’ll see the sign for sure. It’s limited on parking so either have a takeout order ready, find a good lot or spot, etc. It’s interior is small, only good for placing orders/waiting, not eating in. But I would recommend this place to anyone who loves soul food cuisine. They are one of my favorites in the area.

I got the catfish sweet potato’s and string beans.The rolls were the best thing on the plate. The sweet potato’s are very dark and tasteless not sweet at all, string beans taste water straight from the can, the fish was hard and salty, the coating tasted horrible. Also it took 45 mins to get my food , there soul food restaurants are definitely not the same.

I absolutely love the food! The customer service is in need of help. I feel this is a family business but sometimes hiring family is where we fail. I call myself trying to impress a friend with the food from here. I tried to call ahead so that I can get to my class at a decent time. After about 5 minutes on hold I called from a second phone and was placed on hold. (It was a younger guy) I was only 12 minutes away so on my drive, after about 15 minutes on hold the first call disconnects. I’m 5 minutes into the 2nd phone. When I arrive still on hold, there are 2 people in the store already served. I waited for the person to get back to the phone after about 7 minutes he walked in and hands a bag to another lady and takes my order. The disregard is crazy. I came to this business because of tik tok. As much as I love the food, I am big on customer service. Now I’m 30 minutes late to where I need to be because i promised a friend the best cheesesteak in East Baltimore. The purpose of calling ahead is to avoid the wait. This business has potential to outgrow the current location but the lack of regard will kill this business.

My only problem is that I asked 2 people for no salt on the fries and I still got salt on the fries, but I will say that the fries were hot and crisp nice touch with the little plastic ramekin of ketchup . Other than that it was the best cheesesteak I’ve had here in Baltimore in quite some time. Service and preparation was quick . It was a big nice and thick cheesesteak . I couldn’t eat the whole thing. I definitely will return.

The people who work here were nice let’s start off with that.. but I wld have never thought they wld put this Mac and cheese in my bag… literally butter shredded cheese and over cooked noodles no seasoning, I’m really disappointed as I always try to support local black owned spots… the catfish was ok and rock fish was ok- seem like it was store bought not battered fresh. Sweet pot was dark filled with butter… half and half was good, not trying to down play but hopefully this is taken for good criticism and nothing to beat the business down… I may try again a few months later to see improvement

Don’t waste your time calling in an order they don’t start making your food until you get there. The wait is unreasonable long, I waited almost 30min for a cheesesteak sub I called in 20 min before I got there so I didn’t have to wait. They run their business very terribly. I don’t recommend eating here at all. The cheesesteak wasn’t even worth the wait. Waste of time and money NEVER again!!!!!

My wife called to order, and after being placed on hold, some 16-minutes elapsed and the store disconnected her. She immediately called back, yet they placed her on hold again. She was on her way from Catonsville to patronize a Black owned business, yet instead was treated with disregard as a result of poor customer service. She stated that the food from here was good, but on her first experience the service was underwhelming. I wanted to try them and this is what we were met with. I will never have her call or patronize this business again. They obviously did not appreciate our potential business. Hoping everyone else has a better experience.
