The tradition of fine quality continues with their son Charley and his wife Tricia. The goal of the Racines has always been to provide a pleasurable dining experience; providing high quality food, friendly service, and a stunning view of Lake Michigan.

My husband and I dropped in for drinks and an appetizer. The owner/manager was extremely attentive and helped us find a great spot in the bar area. Service was outstanding and the mushrooms were fantastic. We will be back for dinner soon!

Came upon this place in our way up north. Read the reviews and gave it a try . Excellent food, service and lots of locals enjoying their neighborhood gathering place. Steaks were huge and lobster excellent. I ate an appetizer for my dinner and couldn’t finish. Take the time to go out in their back garden benches overlooking Lake Michigan at night. Just beautiful.

Very pleasant staff. Good menu well-executed and served by nice waitstaff. Even the table busser did a nice job. Grand Mere is unpreposessing from the roadside, which makes the interior and its views a delightful surprise.

Have been here a few times. The service is impeccable. Brought our 18 month granddaughter and the server Debbie took special care for her. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. You won’t be disappointed. Love this place.

This is one of the best Seafood I have eaten in a long time. I had their Scallop Special and it was amazing. The red potatoes side dish was also very good.. What we really loved was their bread with herb/chive spread and their pate. My husband got the Seafood Special which he really loved.

We tried the grand mere food truck for the first time last night. Everyone at the table, got the perch and chips. We all agree perch was fair, small portions. no coleslaw. We expected better for $22. Not a great start. I think you guys have things to learn. Restaurant is still a favorite

Girls weekend this was our first stop. First the bread which was incredible and then dinner which was enjoyed with a bottle of wine. Our table had swordfish and beef liver and they were amazing. While we watched the sun beginning to set out the windows we left and asked the manager the fastest way to the beach. His spot did not disappoint as we got to see a beautiful sunset till it disappeared into lovely Lake Michigan. If you are nearby stop in for some fantastic food and wine

A little more expensive, but we keep going back for our anniversary and perhaps my wife’s birthday. It may be expensive, but the food is next to none. I had the filter and my wife had the fish… both spectacular! And our waitress was the best. She earned every penny of her tip and then some. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, you can’t get much better than Grand Mere Inn.
