Server brought 5 of 6 drinks & didn’t return to take irder for over 30 minutes. 330 reservation (which they assured us service when making the res), place half empty at this time, got food at 445, waitress had zero sense of urgency or concern. Fetched our own silverware, fetched our own bar rag to clean a spill, That other drink….finally arrived just prior to the good. Horribly overpriced. Steak bites…where was the steak? Had a crap ton of huge potatoes but minimal steak for $17.95. Won’t return. No visible manager, no one checked on us. Horrible experience

Over all everything was great until the bill came. They charged at 2.95% admin fee. Then I gave her cash and she didn’t give me the exact change. Establishments really need to start rolling their fees into the prices of their food because this admin fee makes me want to never come back. And stop rounding up without asking and not giving the correct change.

I just moved in downtown and decided to give this place a try despite the poor reviews. Walked in to get some dinner and the place was empty. The employees were devoted to playing their YouTube playlists on the tvs and despite have no other customers, they totally ignored me, so I walked out.

What a cool Grand Rapids spot. Great decor inside and out. I am looking forward to returning when the weather is nice so I can sit outside and enjoy the outdoor fireplace. Tasty food and good drinks.

I have came here multiple times, atmosphere is horrible, bouncers are even worse. One of the bouncers, “Rob”, was incredibly weird and rude. Heard he liked to flirt with the college girls and take them to a back room.

I recently came back to The Woods and noticed they’ve got a completely new staff, and honestly, they really turned the place around. I ordered some wings and a few drinks and everything was fantastic. The vibe feels way better now, and the new staff is awesome, super friendly and on top of things. Definitely glad I gave it another shot, feels like a whole new bar.

First time. Paid too much for some chips and salsa from a jar. It’s easy to make fresh salsa. And what the heck is the admin fee added to the bill?!? Total scam.
Our waitress was fast and friendly and efficient. It was pretty empty in there and I’m not sure how they’re still in business.

Fantastic place for a tasty burger and a beer or tasty cocktail. Great atmosphere. Very cozy but still nice enough to feel fancy. Rodeo burger was fantastic. Southwest egg rolls were terrific. Minimal choices for vegetarian. Close to the Intersection if you’re going to a show.

The food was very good and the service was amazing. Their Happy Hour choices were plentiful, reasonably priced and served with a very happy smile. We ha e made this our pre and post concert stop in Grand Rapids. You can get good food almost anywhere but if you want great service be sure you stop at Grand Woods Lounge.
