Great service from begining to end. Its a quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the chicken parmesan and the chicken pesto. The gravy or red sauce was seasoned to perfection. The chicken pesto was the winner. The creamy sauce and the Grilled Chicken were a perfect combination. The servers are friendly and constantly checking their tables which made the dining experience enjoyable.

The appetizer was cold, all the beer was either from bottle or can. However the greek salad was amazing would go back and just order that and water. My wife enjoyed her cheeky cosmopolitan. My spare rib dinner was very bland but my wife enjoyed her dinner. Service was good and staff was friendly.

This was our first time at Grand Ticino. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and the location offered plenty of space for a pleasant dining experience both indoors and outdoors. We ordered a Margherita pizza and were surprised to find onions in the sauce—not a big issue, just unexpected from an Italian establishment. The dough was just right for my daughter, which earned major points from us. I had the spicy short rib tagliatelle and was very pleased. We’re looking forward to bringing the whole family once everyone is home.

To begin with, the service was amazing and the staff was very intelligent with the menu. The mozzarella was very good and cooked to perfection. The Cesar salad was refreshing and if you want to spice it up some add a touch of feta to it. The shrimp bisque was freshly cooked, that I found out was made to order was one of the best soups in the Birmingham and surrounding areas. Make sure to stop by here for brunch and expertise a level of Italian food that is above the rest in the area. Great place to relax after work at the very cool bar and get one of the special recipes of an espresso martini. Amazing can’t be used enough.

I came in late just before closing and had such a good experience at the bar. Jess was so accommodating, friendly, positive, and good company! The food came out fast from the kitchen and was delicious. A Greek side salad and Shrimp Scampi. Accompanied by two cold crisp beers. The shrimp were plump, had perfect texture, mouth feel and flavor. So enjoyable and satisfying. I was made to feel welcome, satiated and happy. I will certainly remember and return. Thanks to all involved.

We left really feeling mixed about our meal here. They were busy when we arrived but then the place quickly cleared out so it wasn’t that they were busy…. Our server was Bree and although friendly, she just could not get it together. 2 orders of garlic bread – we wanted cheese on both.. .cheese came on only one so she took it away and they obviously added cheese and re heated it… we could sure tell. Our drinks took way too long and came in stages with one person’s drinks taking well over 20 minutes. The server really struggled to place the orders. My husband’s Short rib and onion pizza had no onions. He told her and she just stood there. The thing to do was to make him what he ordered, that was never offered and frankly unacceptable…. Then another at the table ordered pizza – just 1 and 2 came out. It just was not the experience we were expecting for $300 for 3 drinks each, 2 orders or garlic bread and 2 pastas and 2 medium pizzas. Then the bill was wrong – yep, that extra pizza was on there. I just don’t think we will return, there are too many other great places to go.
