Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations. The only item that stood out was the chicken sliders — the rest really fell short.
On a positive note, we were served by a new staff member who was very friendly, helpful, and genuinely pleasant.
The service was amazing. Our server was attentive and informative. Our food came out fast & it was hot.
The atmosphere was very nice. There is outdoor seating, bar seating, and dining room seating. On Saturdays & Sundays, they have brunch. There is a designated area for brunch.
This was not our first time visiting for brunch, and in the past we’ve had excellent food and service, which made today’s experience especially disappointing.
We arrived right at 10 AM when they opened and were among the first guests inside. The restaurant was clean, we were greeted kindly, and seating was prompt. The brunch buffet was well presented and nicely arranged. However, when we returned to our table with our food, we noticed it was not hot.
We informed our waitress, who relayed the concern to the owner. Staff appeared to work to fix the issue, and we waited before trying the buffet again. Some items were warmer on the second attempt, but most of the food remained cold. We shared our concerns again and finished what we could.
When our bill arrived, we hoped some accommodation would be made due to the cold food. The owner came to our table and approached us by asking, “What’s the problem now?” His tone and demeanor made the interaction uncomfortable. He stated he would only remove one adult buffet from the bill because he claimed someone in our party was eating from another person’s plate, referencing camera footage. One adult in our party did not order the buffet and had their own entrée, so this explanation felt irrelevant. The mention of being watched on cameras during our meal was also unsettling.
This establishment can serve good food and we’ve had positive experiences before, but today’s cold buffet and the way our concerns were handled were very disappointing. Based on this experience, we will not be returning
