Enjoy fine dining in a casually elegant North Woods décor, right on the water’s edge. Grand Superior Grill restaurant, located in the Main Lodge, is open year-round to serve all diners (resort and non-resort guests). Superior views can be enjoyed inside the restaurant and lounge or on the deck overlooking the shore.

My experience is with this establishment was experiencing the snow globe fondue! Everyone was kind and personable. I’m vegan and they separated the food so I knew what I could eat. We truly enjoyed celebrating our birthdays this way. The globe was nice and warm, very full bellies & delicious drinks. We even hung out at the bar for a little while to talk with those who were working. I highly recommend the snow globe & a stop for a drink here.

We wanted to have dinner with a view and this place delivered! We sat on the patio even tho we had to go in to order cause it’s kinda late in the season. But they brought our food out for us and we had a fantastic time! The food was all so delicious. We each got different items and cocktails. And we all loved what we had! And the view is amazing. Highly recommend!

We dined in the snow globe for valentines day, and it was a truly wonderful experience. They did a great job decorating and creating a warm and cozy space. Our server was attentive and friendly. The fondue platter was delicious, especially the steak and gnocchi. The smores dessert was fun and yummy.

Snow Globe dining experience! Beginning with the service, it was a 10/10! The globe was nicely heated and wonderfully appointed! The Fondue was excellent( cheese Fondue with a variety of meats, veggies, fruits, and breads) and the dessert, S’mores was the perfect ending to a magical experience!

Went here for the Friday fish fry. It’s an all you can eat walleye, with truffle fries. Very, very good! Service was nothing short of excellent! The dining room was comfortable and casual, with nice views of Lake Superior. If you’re up the North Shore, you will want to give this place a try!

Today we had carry-out from the Superior Grill. And I must say, it was as good as I hoped it would be, in fact, better than I expected for carry-out. Tonight was a burger. Tomorrow I plan to dine in and order steak. I’ll update then, if Google allows. Update: day two… Dining in. No complaints at all! All expectations were met or exceeded. For dinner we had the fillet mignon with shrimp, and the Parmesan crusted walleye. Service was excellent and the view of the lake was stunning.

The facility was very nice with great views of Lake Superior. The food was excellent! I had the Mixed Green Salad Lingonberry Vinagarette salad dressing. I also had the Soup du Jour, which, to me, had an East Indian flavor. My wife had The Mile High Club sandwich. It was very good both at the restaurant and as a cold leftover later that night. My daughter had the 218 CDBC Smash burger and loved it. My granddaughter had the Mac And Cheese and devoured it.

My girlfriend and I ended our girls day here for dinner. We both had a spicy Bloody Mary and their delicious fish fry, which was perch! We both devoured their truffle fries! The dill aoli was the cherry on top!

Good food with a glorious view and attentive service. I love finding these hidden gems on roadtrips! Typical American food that is made well with great presentation. We had a late breakfast and enjoyed our meals – Eggs Benedict and pancakes with chocolate chips. Perfect portion sizes – not too much and not too little. A cup of coffee is $4, my only gripe that’s not really a gripe.

We had a party of 8 for the dome fondue experience and the heater stopped working halfway through the experience and they couldn’t get it started again. They should keep extra heaters on hand. We went without heat for 20 minutes when the temperature was at 0 degrees, we tried to troubleshoot the propane and heater and waited for someone to check on us. We had to go find someone and they couldn’t get it started. I ordered a drink and as we waited for my drink & the s’mores, it we got too cold so moved inside. The s’mores were dropped off but not my drink. We no longer had plates or waters so I had to ask the bartender for those. Never recieved an apology, once we moved inside, it seemed like we were on our own. Waitress dropped off the $480 bill ($60/person), it’s shocking they wouldn’t offer a discount when the cost appears to be hiked up for the experience. After I asked for a discount, they removed the $10 in drinks, they mentioned they couldn’t discount the food. There’s no way the food was $480! Disappointing as we drive 3.5 hours from the cities to take my son out for his birthday.
