Ehh food. Ehh drinks. Service and was fine. Expensive for the quality of food

They don’t tell you this but cheese on your burger is $2

Burger was alright. Dry bun, patty not very flavorful. Fries were alright. You get a big portion though.

3.8/10

Really great place to have some excellent food and drinks! Kayla was our server and she was amazing! Had the Polish Dill Pickle, and Cheese Curd appetizers. We ordered the pizza, fish and chips, fish taco’s and lastly the black and blue burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was just delicious! Recommend this place highly! Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Riley was awesome, the $1 wings were well made, the beer menu has a great selection. Overall a good place to hang out with friends. We were there on a weekday, mildly crowded. Great experience.

You need to walk in to the middle of the restaurant to the hostess, then they will take you to the table (I don’t find this very practical nor like it, it’s kinda confusing when you go there for the first time); it took like 5 min for them to take us to the table and the table was wet and kinda sticky. The waiter arrived arrived and gave us the menu (old and dirty, some stains on it) also confusing that the menu doesn’t show the available drinks.
At the end we ordered a beer flight and a firecracker hamburger with habanero cheese (zero spicy but we’re Mexican ) the dish includes french fries; the hamburger was good but I think it would be better with more sauce on it and more spicy ️. The flight was good except for the 313 beer, I didn’t like it at all.

My fiancé and I went there on 9/26, at approximately 4pm, for the first time. We were both pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed a pickle martini which was perfectly made. I also ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel. Even though they didn’t have the spaëtzle, the dish itself was phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you like to try extraordinary dishes.

We didn’t realize the util after we left that we should have got happy hour prices. It was disappointing that our waitress didn’t catch that.

We will be back to try some more cocktails and food.

Thanks,
Camille

Finally made it in to dine. Recommend reservations as at 5:30pm they were busy. Our waiter appeared a littie frazzled. The inside looks almost exactly like the prior restaurant which is great as the design choices were pretty cool. Love the vintage looking bar with comfy bar stools for a nice “belly up!” LOL We were surprised that at 5:30 on a Saturday that they were sold out of all of their steaks ! Hmm . There are a variety of craft beers and cocktails. The Heart-attack Mac did not have much flavor to the cheese sauce nor were there enough toppings for the price! The patty melt which was ordered medium came very well done and the bread was burnt both outside as well as inside. As if both sides of each piece of bread was grilled to a blackened color. The patty melt did not appear to have the toppings listed on the menu. They did take this off of our bill. The 1/2 rack of ribs were very small with maybe 6 skimpy bones present. The meat was good but the BBQ sauce was way too heavy and sweet. There was a German special of a traditional form of Mac and cheese for Octoberfest that was amazing. Oh, the poutine with pulled pork was yummy but could use less salt. Evidently back in the day they were known for their baked goods, all deserts are made in-house. The Brownie Sundae was good. The chocolate stout layered cake was really good. The icing a Swiss buttercream. Very moist!! The carrot cake looked good too. I recommend the deserts. The rest could use a good tweak! All and all a little disappointing.

Great beer selections, complimented by great service and food. Had the GRB grinder and it was excellent. Right, amount of meat, peppers and onions, but a little greasy. Lots of room at the bar to enjoy beer or cocktails. Both bartenders were very attentive!

Tonight we went back to Grand River Brewery since we enjoyed it so much the last time we were there. Although we loved the food we ordered last time we wanted to see what else was on the menu.
We arrived early enough to catch the end of happy hour and ordered the cheese dip and chips for just $5 and it was delicious! Then I ordered the Reuben, which was a must-try since the menu said it was made with bacon-kraut and it was definitely a great taste experience. My daughter ordered the pimento burger because we haven’t seen it on menus anywhere else and she raved about it.
The service was fast and very cheerful! We were really glad we went back. But our favorites on the menu are still the pulled pork Poutine and the Seasonal Mac and Cheese that we had on our first visit. We haven’t made a bad choice here!

We really wanted to like this restaurant. It’s in a great spot in the heart of downtown clawson and we like to support local businesses. We first tried their food by ordering carry out through doordash. I got the fish and chips. Worse fries I’ve had in a long time and fish was barely passible, but we figured it was probably because it was delivered so we decided to dine in give them another try. The host was in a bad mood and didn’t say a word to me, but the server was very friendly. We got the reuben fritters to start; really tasty & would def recommend. Then we ordered the Jaegerschnitzel and the Mac and cheese heart attack style. The schnitzel and spaetzle were mid at best. The Mac and cheese was mid too, but the pork on top was just about inedible. It all just felt like a let down and very unsatisfying.

What a great place to grab food! Their hamburgers are delicious! Philly cheesesteak and Classic burger were great! Brioche buns are perfect Sweet potato fries were tasty and the hot sauce was just on point! Not too spicy but just good as it should be! You can see the kitchen through the glass wall and the pizza oven looks great! Something to try for the next time! Will be coming back for more. Very chill laidback place, cool atmosphere, stylish interior, arcade games and friendly people working here!
