Their Vietnamese Espresso Martini is absolutely to die for!!! I haven’t tried many of the other drinks but they all sound fantastic as well!!!
Their salad rolls are fantastic and so fresh, the chicken wings are perfection, the calamari is absolutely delish!!!
I’ve had the Lemongrass chicken báhn mì and the rice bowl with chicken as well and omfg both were so so good!!!! So fresh and flavourful!!!
This has very quickly become one of my fav restaurants in town!!!
I’ve ordered the Beef pho, for $20 it was worth it. Generous portion, plenty of meat. The broth was a bit lacking in flavor, but by the time I finished everything I didn’t have room left to enjoy it anyway
On my second visit I decided to get taken out and ordered the Bun Bo Hue, I could not tell you how it tasted since it was so spicy that I couldn’t taste anything lol I couldn’t even finish it, and I like spicy foods but not usually have my tounge melt off kind of spicy
My third visit I drastically underestimated the platter. It was a lot more than I was expecting but I have no regrets. The pork, chicken, beef and shrimp all hdlad their own amazing flavors and could easily feed two or three people.
Everytime I’ve eaten here was in the off hours and always had my choice of seating and a nice calm environment. Staff are sweet and diligent. I personally dislike loud music or flashy environments so I really appreciate the simplicity.
On our previous visits to Campbell River, we consistently dined at a different Pho establishment that we thoroughly enjoyed. However, I suggested trying Grand Phoret, which boasts excellent reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
We appreciate dining at Pho restaurants, but this one failed to meet our expectations. The prices for their soup and Pho portions seemed expensive for its seving size.
Although the platter was satisfactory and reasonably priced, the gyoza was underwhelming, with a really small portion for $11. If I saw it beforehand I will not order it.
The Kasai fried rice was adequate, but the lack of meat for $18, with an additional $6 to add meat, was noteworthy. As the fried rice was the primary reason for my visit, I was saddened to conclude that I will not return to this restaurant due to its expensive prices, decent taste and unimpressive serving size.
