I love the General ‘Tis Chicken and rice. It’s absolutely delicious! I love that they will make it more crispy if you ask. The service is wonderful and the owners are very kind. I am so happy I found this place there are not a lot of good Chinese spots left in GR. This is the best one I have found by far. I am excited to try some of their other dishes. MIE Fun is one of my favorites and I been really wanting to try it from here as well but the General TOS is so delicious I keep ordering that.

This little take out Chinese restaurant is Hands Down The ABSOLUTE BEST in GR. The taste of every dish our family had tried is crazy good. The size portions are insane. But their Dumplings just make my mouth water and knees buckle a little.

I haven’t had this Chinese food in a long time, but it tasted exactly the same way I remember it. Savory and delicious! I recommend going with the combo meals because they come with rice, the crab Rangoons and Egrolls are very good. This restaurant offers a unique flavor and a good variety of dishes. The cute decor adds to the charm of the store. Keep doing what you guys do! Love your food! ❤️

Grabbed takeout from here after work for the first time ever because they were open pretty late and I hadn’t eaten all day. Food was really gross. Chicken was rubbery. Everything was way too sweet. Even the hot and sour soup was sweet. Not just a little, either, it was like sugar soup. Picked at it and ended up tossing most of it.
Woke up the next morning with food poisoning and wasn’t able to keep anything down for the next 3 days.
All around a really awful experience. Even if I hadn’t gotten sick, that food was absolutely foul. It’s like they mixed up sugar and salt it was so bad.

We got the Pork Fried Rice along with beef and broccoli. I base a majority of the rating off of the fried rice, and it was not the best, in my opinion. It’s very bland and not a lot of flavor. The beef and broccoli was decent. I wouldn’t really recommend this location.

Don’t bother eating here. The service is poor and they REFUSE to provide receipts as if a customer shouldn’t have one. The food is mid at best. Just pass on this place. There are many other places that have great Chinese to dine.

I have ordered Mongolian Beef from Grand Lakes for MANY YEARS. The dish has always been excellent – tonight wasn’t the case. The dish lacked flavor/seasoning.Uncooked rice particles mixed in with steamed rice. The owner was EXTREMELY RUDE REFUSING TO REMAKE THE DISH AND GIVING ME A 24 HOUR NOTICE TO RETURN IT FOR A REFUND. HAVING JUST HAD SURGERY AND BEING HOSPITALIZED MAKES A 24 HOUR RETURN IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME. GOD IS NOT PLEASED WITH YOU MR. GRAND LAKES OWNER!!!!
