This restaurant has received five stars for its captivating atmosphere, offering diners a stunning view of the ocean. Its proximity to the airport provides an added advantage, allowing patrons to witness the takeoff and landing of planes.
With ample seating capacity, this establishment is an ideal venue for large groups or special occasions.
Despite securing a seat, we encountered a growing crowd and a queue upon our departure. The menu features a diverse selection of dim sum, specialty dishes, and authentic Cantonese cuisine. Notably, this restaurant has been reviewed by renowned celebrity chef Guy Fieri.
The prices are reasonable, and the food is consistently served hot and fresh. The noodle dish we ordered was particularly noteworthy.
Parking can be challenging, so it is advisable to arrive early.

I’ve wanted to come here ever since I saw it on Guy Fieri’s show. Not gonna lie I was confused on how everything worked and what they based the prices on…so I just marked what I wanted to try and figured out the rest as I went along. Everything was beautiful, they brought everything hot and fresh. Things came out as it was ready. They had desserts or soups moving around on different carts. A very large space with beautiful views. They definitely do not skimp on the portions. Some things to know…you have to ask for soy sauce , napkins, or water those things are not automatically provided. They do provide hot tea, which was delicious! Had a great time! Prices vary by what you order.

Let’s start with the positives. The food is good, the prices are reasonable for the Bay Area, and the waterfront view is absolutely stunning. If you go, I highly recommend arriving right at opening time. Parking is much easier, and you can avoid the long wait that usually builds up later in the day.

Now for the downside — the service. Like many dim sum places, the service here isn’t great. The staff doesn’t really check on customers or make you feel taken care of, yet there seems to be an expectation of a standard 18% tip. I still left a tip as a courtesy to avoid any awkwardness, but honestly, with this level of service, it should be earned — not assumed.

The biggest issue happened when I was leaving. After I signed the check and got up from the table, a waiter — who wasn’t even my server — immediately came over to look at my receipt. I couldn’t tell whether he was checking the tip amount or verifying the paperwork. Then he chased after me, shouting “Hey! Hey! Hey!” and pointing at the receipt, saying something I couldn’t understand.

At first, I thought he was demanding more tip, and I was ready to respond. Then I realized I had accidentally taken the wrong copy of the receipt — the one I was supposed to sign was still on the table. Apparently, there are multiple copies, and it wasn’t clear which one needed a signature.

That said, the situation could have been handled much more professionally. A simple, “Excuse me, sir, you signed the wrong copy — could you please sign this one?” would have solved everything. Instead, there was no courtesy, no “thank you,” and no apology for the confusion.

The food and view initially made me want to come back, but that one rude interaction ruined the entire dining experience in less than a minute. Customer service matters. Tips are earned, not demanded. If you don’t provide decent service, you shouldn’t expect generous tipping.

The first time I came to eat with my family, I was a bit confused about how to order, but luckily the staff helped me so I could order quickly. Our dining table was in a good location because it was on the edge near the glass porch with a view of the ocean and we could see the planes landing at SFO. The food we ordered tasted good and the price was still okay.

Waiter was quick with his recommendation and led me to the house pan fried noodles. Hesked if I wanted some vegetables, I said sure…the dish came with vegetables but he recommended some Chinese broccoli. I was eating alone…you can see the 20 dollar mound of broccoli he brought me…ridiculous. the house combination with pan fried noodles was ok at best. Last time I was here the dim sum at lunch was great. This was not even close to that experience.

FOOD 3
We ordered a mix of classic dim sum dishes and found most everything to be lightly seasoned and lacking depth.

Siu mai skins were falling apart, and the pork filling, which contained shrimps, tobiko on top and coarsely ground pork, could have used some sweetness – 2.

Har gow skin was translucent and filled with perfectly steamed shrimps with a hint of ginger – 4.

Wu gok Taro turnovers were OK, but lacking punch – 3.

Gee cheung fun skin was silky soft, chopped char siu filling tasted a bit dry perhaps from the day before. Sauce was light and sweet – 3.5
Chicken feet were my favorite of the day with succulent flavor and easy to eat – 4.

Chow mein noodles were OK, with most of the noodles clumped together and drenched in the gravy, and just a few strands on the outer edges crispy – 3. The sauce was light, again lacking overall depth, but at least the sauce wasn’t oversalted. Shrimps, scallops and fish were cooked through just enough, so that they weren’t raw.

Dessert of Portuguese-style egg tarts were very delicious, flaky, and sweet – 5!

SERVICE 4
Our main server was very attentive, intuitive and responsive filling our teapot with hot water and clearing away empty steamer baskets etc.

Since we sat on the mid-tier floor away from the window, the server has to pull our orders from the carts on the main floor and bring them to our table.

ATMOSPHERE 4
Main floor seating is desired if you can get it. As other reviewers have mentioned, the ocean view and watching planes take off and land can be mesmerizing.

OVERALL 4
We visited on a Sunday at 10:45am and quickly got a 4-top for 3 just before all the crowds arrived. While I wasn’t impressed with the food (I found it quite pedestrian and ordinary, but the prices are reasonable for the quality), we did spend a pleasant 2 hours catching up with family, and at no time did we feel hurried or rushed. $80 before tip for 3 light eaters. I would return with non-fussy eaters.

Everything was so good. We were told to show up 30 min early, they did not disappoint. We barely sat down and the food was ready to go.

At 11am on a Sunday, the parking lot was full. The wait was about 5 minutes for a table of 10. It is the type of dim sum restaurant without carts and you order by marking up a brochure. We ordered way too much food. The bill ended up being $380 before tip. Most of the food tasted OK, These were not OK, egg rolls, stuffed mushrooms and turnip cakes. Service was lackluster. We had a party of 10 and they only set it up for eight people. We asked for two more place sets and they only gave us plates. No chairs, chops sticks or napkins. We had to ask multiple times. They don’t have mustard, soy sauce or hot sauce at the table. Again, we had to ask multiple times as they will only give you one set for 10 people.

Five star on the atmosphere as this restaurant boasts of a beautiful view of the ocean while you are dining. You can even see the plane taking off or landing because of its proximity to the airport.
This restaurant is big and is a good place for a big group or special celebrations.
The dishes that we had were good but there’s really nothing special. We had the combination seafood chow mien, garlic pea tips, salt and pepper pork, Mongolian beef and peking duck. They were pretty authentic. The service was great as we were given a pot of tea and a little bowl of peanuts as soon as we seated.

Good go to dimsum spot! Also by the bay so some nice views if you’re sitting by the window. Dishes are also pretty good! Quick service and a lot of staff walking around. I think the only downside for me personally is that the parking can be challenging during busy hours and spots are a little bit on the narrower side but there is a lot! This doesn’t stop me from coming though because eventually someone leaves
