Reviews
The good looking welcome drink was a good touch. The juices were refreshing. The Mutton Biryani tasted delicious. The recommended grilled fish was the best fish I have had in a long time. The fish was fresh and grilled to perfection. The cost of the grilled fish was around 2700 rupees, which was a tad high, but it was huge and could easy feed three people.
The ambiance was great, although the wait can be a bit tiring. The restrooms amd wash areas were well maintained.
Once you are seated you will be promptly presented with a welcome drink with sufficient drama that is nice to see and definitely a plus. The menu is pretty exhaustive and if you’re like me, you will probably take a while to make up your mind. They offer a fusion of Kerala dishes including rice meals, North Indian, Chinese and continental dishes.
Based on recommendations from the person who took our order, we tried a continental dish which was like a large platter. The platter was generous however, it was a bit too heavy on the palette and not up to the mark.
So overall, my experience at the Grand Entree was somewhat mixed, I am yet to try out their other items and hopefully those should be nicer to make me a regular visitor.
Our own experience matched this: orders were handled efficiently, and the restaurant ambiance was inviting and clean, perfect for both families and friends.
Our Dining Experience
We sampled an impressive variety of dishes:
• Paal Kappa (Tapioca in Coconut Milk): While some past diners found the kappa inconsistent, ours was fresh and paired excellently with the mains.
• Fried Calamari: Perfectly crispy, but greasy.
• Korean Chicken Wings: Zesty, well-seasoned.
• Chicken Fried Rice (Schezwan & Plain): Both versions were well-balanced and not oily—ideal comfort food that pleased the palate.
• Chicken Malabari: This dish was decent, but didn’t stand out.
• Hot and Sour Chicken: Had a nice depth of flavor.
• Dragon Chicken: The sweet-and-spicy sauce worked beautifully with the fried rice.
Desserts
For dessert, the sizzling brownie with ice cream offered a classic, decadent finish, while the elaneer pudding provided a refreshing, light alternative—highlighting the kitchen’s skill and creativity.
Ambiance
The restaurant’s ambiance is contemporary, comfortable, and clean, featuring gentle lighting and tasteful decor. It’s great for casual evenings out or special occasions.
Grand Entree delivers a memorable dining experience. Would recommend
