This was my first visit to this restaurant and was craving Chinese food. However, I thought the food was pedestrian and they didn’t have any spicy chicken options. It seemed like most of the entrees were bathed in MSG and too much sauce. If you’re looking to watch your waistline, this is not the best place.
I doubt if I will return to this joint because there are closer better quality Chinese food joints closer to my house in WC. Furthermore, the food was marginal and I like spicy food . The service was better than average and my drinks were refilled in a prompt manner.

Best little buffet around!
Whenever we visit our relatives in Maryland, we make it a point to stop at the Grand East Buffet in Delaware (both on the trip down and back home).
A relatively small restaurant with a great selection of dishes and a friendly staff but, what makes it so special is the preparation. Their food is the freshest and tastiest we’ve ever found in a buffet! They prepare small batches so, it’s always hot and fresh from the kitchen every time you refill your plate and the sauces and seasoning are always perfect!
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Wilmington Delaware and you’re feeling peckish, make a detour to the Grand East Buffet….you will not be disappointed!

We found this place by chance since we are shopping in the area. It’s truly a hidden gem. It’s a small buffet but still has a decent selections and food quality is good since I guess it’s easier to maintain the quality of smaller buffet compare to the bigger ones. Servers are attentive, bringing out our drinks quick and constantly taking out empty plates so they are not cluttering. Overall, I recommend this place if you’re in the area and craving for Chinese buffet in a good price.

I’ve been here a few times now. The food is better than most Chinese buffets around and they have a pretty decent selection. The wait staff aren’t the most social crew, which is just fine with me. There’s no music so it is easy to hear neighboring conversations and utensils clinking. The coconut shrimp and Chinese donuts are favorites. They have what’s either a soft serve or froyo machine thats serves pretty good whatever it is. Don’t go right before closing! They stop serving fresh food around 8pm. Overall it’s a good place to eat and the prices are reasonable. I mostly see families when I’m in there but it’s a great date night spot for me and my bf.

Very nice staff. But very small selection, no hibachi, no crabs, came during the weekday close to closing time and the food was warm, and everything was almost out. Better driving to Wilmington hibachi buffet worth the extra price. However, the broccoli here was really good and so were the dumplings and crab ragoons. Sushi was good too.

We ventured off our path to go eat here in Maryland. The food was good but some of it was cold. We’ve been to better buffets but they had a lot of choices. The sweet and sour chicken was delish. It was pretty noisy in there and there wasn’t that many people in the restaurant.

Expensive when you get to-go, but that’s every buffet, even Golden corral lol. I love the teriyaki chicken, I put it on top of lo mein noodles and in my opinion it tastes exactly like Sarku Japan in the mall food courts. I’ve tried this combo at every buffet in Delaware and this place is by far the best for that combination, none of the others taste like this. The rest of the food that I got was also good but the chicken and lo mein is the main reason I come here.

This place is messed up. I have been coming here for few years with my kids. Today for some reasons I was ask to pay before I dine. While everyone else was eating and handed a bill after their meal. I ask the lady in the front desk why are you asking me to pay before I dine. Her answer was “ I just started working here’. When as to speak to a manager she said their was no manager available. I forgot to mention that we are a black family. I guess that explains it.

Went for the all you can eat buffet. Which was very cheap and the different choices of food and fresh shrimp fresh fruit they have it all and I do have pics. Can’t wait to go again.
