This place is hands-down one of the best buffets for your buck. The selection is huge, but what really stands out is the consistency, everything tastes fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully seasoned. From classic Chinese favorites to crowd-pleasing staples, you can tell the kitchen takes pride in keeping the food stocked, hot, and satisfying. It’s not just “good for a buffet”, it’s genuinely good food, period.
What really sets Grand China Buffet apart is how reliable it is. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or bringing a group, you always know what you’re getting: solid quality, friendly service, and an atmosphere that feels welcoming instead of rushed. It’s one of those rare places where you leave full and happy, feeling like you more than got your money’s worth.
It’s also an underrated gem for celebrations. Birthdays, family get-togethers, or spontaneous “let’s all eat together” moments, this place just works. Everyone can find something they like, no one feels limited, and the relaxed buffet style makes it easy to focus on enjoying the people you’re with rather than stressing over orders or prices.
Bottom line: Grand China Buffet nails the trifecta, value, quality, and consistency. It’s the kind of spot you keep coming back to because it never lets you down. If you’re looking for a buffet that actually earns its reputation, this one deserves to be at the top of your list.
The “servers” are always very attentive and ready to clean up tables and offer refills on drinks.
The restaurant atmosphere is always nice, clean and pleasantly quiet, probably because we’re all busy eating.
It’s normally my go to when in the valley.
They had a wide variety of options, most of which were hot and fresh.
The chicken and beef with the broccoli were my favorites, and the sweet and sour chicken was perfect. The sweet and sour sauce was maybe more sweet than sour, but it was still fine.
The house fried rice was the only lackluster thing I tried. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t particularly flavorful.
They had sushi and Mongolian also, but I did not partake.
I would definitely go again.
