Bagels are ok but that’s where it ends. Ordering anything else will delivery you low grade quality food. Look at the bacon .. nothing but fat … like a slinky

Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they’ve taken them out of the oven, I don’t even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they’re busy but that’s a good sign. There are regulars who come every morning and read newspapers while having their bagels. It’s a neighborly place with excellent bagels.

Their workers are awesome! Anytime I take the train to visit family, I have to stop here early in the morning. They’re all young kids who work there, but something about them makes my day better. The bagels are more than decent, and the coffee is reliably good. Id give the food a 4 star, but the workers made my experience a lot better.

First, the service is horrible, waited 40 minutes for an americano coffee. The butter that they use is really bad is saltier than a rock of Himalayan, they use cheap ingredients. The bagels taste just like the super market bagels. I went there because someone from the area recommended it and we like to try new things. I will never go back or recommend it, service is bad, the wait is not worthy and the quality not their food is not the best. I guess this place is always packed because is a small town and people don’t have many choices to pick from.

Sunday morning ordered a dozen bagels. Rye and cinnamon raisin were stale. Paltry toppings on salt and “blizzard” ie everything bagels. The rest of the dozen were hard but edible. I figured weekend morning would produce fresh bagels. “Best coffee in town” sign is not true. Plenty of better alternatives down the street. Asked for an iced coffee with cream and sugar, they will give it to you black and point to the extras. Rainbow bagels cost $3?! This whole place is a mediocre trap for Metro North train goers. Try Bagellicious in Thornwood where the bagels are fresh and a bakers dozen is 15 not 13 like at Bagel Cafe.

Everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and a small tea was $6.85. Bagel and cream cheese were very good.. Can’t figure out how they got to $6.85 since the bagel was a $1.50 and the tea was $2.25

This place is home of the best Bacon, Egg and Cheese in Pleasantville. It is consistently excellent and the perfect balance. I love their bagels as well and the staff is consistently friendly.

Ordered 4 bacon egg and cheeses with hashbrowns. Only got three. One had egg, cheese and sausage, no hashbrowns. Another had bacon, egg, sausage and no cheese. Again no hashbrowns. Paid the full price (Adding hashbrowns costs extra). Other than that food tastes good.

Convenient place to grab a quick bite in the morning. Fast service. Has one of those annoying debit card minimums, though, so bring cash unless you expect to spend more than $10.
