Stayed with my son for a basketball tournament at Spooky Nook and wanted a good bagel place for breakfast. Grand Central Bagels is 3 minutes from Heritage Hotel, and boy were we pleased with our breakfast. Busy place, which shows quality food, but not too busy with a fast wait time. The food was right on point. Bacon, egg, and cheese, with fresh onion and avocados on a toasted wrap. The coffee was outstanding with many options. Highly recommend Grand Central Bagels for either breakfast or lunch as they have an extensive lunch menu also.

Grand Central Bagel is an absolute gem!
The bagels are perfectly chewy inside with a crisp exterior and the flavor options are incredible. Every time I visit the service is fast, friendly, and consistent. The spreads taste fresh and the breakfast sandwiches are loaded and satisfying. The shop is always clean and welcoming and the staff seems genuinely happy to be there. This is easily my favorite bagel spot in the area. Five stars.

The food and coffee are usually pretty good. If we just want a quick bagel sandwich in the morning and the price is pretty good too. The old lady that usually works the counter is always very rude I’m not sure why she works there. Her customer service is horrible and she’s always mad about something. It seems like she might just need to retire if she hates her job that much. This time around was my last time coming to this establishment because what kind of bagel is this? Who allows that to be served to a customer whether they were busy or not. Who cut a bagel like that and put a slice of cream cheese? Not spread either. That’s just completely unacceptable they need to do better overall if that’s what they think is acceptable.
Edit: Came back to get my bagel remade or get a refund and the other lady at the counter was actually polite and agreed the bagel didn’t look right. And I got my bagel remade nicely. Thank you but I won’t be coming back 🙂

This cafe is just amazing, with a lot of options for your coffee, tea, pastry, bread, bagel, smoothie,breakfast, brunch, and protein shake. You name it, they got it. Check out their timings before you plan a visit. They have a shared parking lot, and it gets busy. The Cafe also was super busy when I visited around 11.00 am. and at least 20 customers waiting to place an order. But the staff turns out the orders much faster. The prices are very reasonable too.
I ordered a pumpernickel bagel toasted with jalapeño cheddar cheese, and it was delicious and made perfect.
I also ordered hot Chai latte and definitely better than other places I had.
I also noticed a lot of repeated customers on the line suggesting us to try several of their delicacies.
The interior has a lot of tables and also they maintained it very well. There is a food pickup area if you place a phone order. They do have a restroom. The outdoor seating is also available.
This place is a must try !!

Sorry I need to down the stars for this place ☹️ they used to be the best bagels I’ve ever had! I make a 1.5hr drive twice a month to pick up some. I have noticed though, that they are getting smaller. Some look like a donut instead of the full size bagel in the recent past. I wish they had oat milk for lattes instead of soy, it’s much creamier and better for you.

One of the downsides of growing up in New York is that one’s bagel barometer is changed for life. I’m happy to say that the bagels and atmosphere here took me back to the old Long Island bagel shops. The bagels are chewy yet not too dense, service is lightning quick (but mindful of the line) and staff are efficient but friendly. Coffee is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Great local sandwich / bagel shop. I’ve been here two times so far and both times have been good experiences. The food is very good and has good quality. The staff are friendly and there’s a good amount of seating (including upstairs). I recommend the lox bagel sandwich – it’s very good!
