Self-serve. No hassle. Great food at awesome price. Definitely will try their dim sum dishes next time at an earlier time. They actually use ceramic/actual bowls and dishes and not disposable/single-user like many other places of similar food.
Would love to see maybe next time they will have their own home made chili oil!

Claypot was pretty good, only $10.75. If you dine in, you get offered free tea/soymilk. Each entree comes with soup, soup is not that impressive but its free. No tip establishment which is surprising, it’s like fast food style just put your tray back on the shelf after you are done.

Grand Café is an absolute gem in Richmond! The food tastes just like the dishes you’d find in China—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

If you love genuine Chinese food, Grand Café is a must-try. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Richmond!

Good honest Cantonese fare in a pleasant clean environment. Claypot rice was delicious and freshly prepared. Soya bean milk produced daily from scratch. Very reasonably priced as well. Plan to be back to try other items on menu including dimsum staples.

A nice spot for good Chinese food at really fair prices. Service is quick—perfect if you’re on a lunch break. The sign says 10–20 minutes, but mine came out even faster during regular lunch hours

I’m telling you right now if you like fried rice and chow fun this is the place to come to. It’s like six dollars cheaper than most Chinese restaurants. At $10.75 that is a deal these days. It’s not super greasy like all the cheap Chinese food out there. This is what Chinese food is supposed to taste like. The rest of the stuff on their menu was great as well but if you’re not Chinese, you’re not going to know about that food. But I encourage you to try it. It’s not super crazy. Delicious meat vegetables and rice in a clay pot with a light sauce. and their noodle soups are good too, at like $8.75 a bowl. A lot of Chinese restaurants charge double for that these days.
This is some good quality Chinese food. I know that because I see a lot of old Chinese folks eating here.
