I found myself in Wharton on Saturday and had the good fortune to get their Chicken Fried Rice. I must share that it’s the BEST I’ve ever had!!! The rice is fluffy and light, with the perfect amount of veggies and chicken pieces. What stood out the most was that it wasn’t heavily seasoned like most places. The flavor was super fresh and delicious!!

When the owners changed a year or so ago, the food wasn’t as good, so me and my family started going to the Bay City location. We tried going again today, thankfully the food was just okay. The waitress did not once remove any used plates, or refill any of our drinks. Each person is nearly $20 as well… I had my infant and them not removing the old plates made it extremely difficult to eat myself. Especially once my one drink was empty
I was really hoping the service would have gotten better after not going for so long, but I guess I’ll have to make the half hour trip elsewhere.

This is usually a great place. Not crowded, good service, great food, no problems. However on the evening of 9/21/25, me, my husband, and our 9 month old all got food poisoning. Will not be back.

Service was fast. Not too many people here. The food was not that great, it needed more flavor. It’s a small buffet, the restaurant didn’t have a variety of food.

I just went there Tuesday. I don’t know what it was but I had an upset stomach immediately after. I was trying several things tho. I left after my second trip to buffet. I was like something is bad or was not prepped correctly. I have a cast iron stomach . I had to leave before I started puking.

It wasn’t really busy I came to here to eat with my family and I gotta say this was the most comforting, calmest, and quietest Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to! Inside looks so clean and organized! The employees and staff are also welcoming and friendly! Our server was kind she offered us a refill whenever she saw our cups empty. Its not really entirely a big Chinese buffet compared to the ones in Houston or other areas, but its still a very good place to eat! I loved the Wonton soup the most it was my most favorite and the beef and Broccoli too!

Food was hot and tasted pretty good for buffet. Not many customers but huge seating area. $11.50 for lunch and I think $13.50 for dinner. Only thing is you use styrofoam plates and plastic utinsels. Only had one choice for sushi and no seafood mains like just shrimp or crab.

Not really one to complain, but this experience made me sick. The food was good for being the closest buffet available, but charging $15+ for a 4 yr old, what? I didn’t realize it was like that on the weekends or me and my oldest son could’ve gotten a plate to go to share for cheaper I’m sure. First off, doors were not open at 11 like the sign said. Shortly after we started eating there was a literal horror movie playing on the TV that was directly in front of us, a half dressed lady strapped to a table & a guy with a meat cleaver circling her, like for real. I had to ask them to change it! Like come on, not sure about anyone else but not my choice of movie while eating, also not very appropriate for kids present. Never had a problem like this here before. Been a while since we’ve been, not sure if the owners have changed.
