Made a stop at this deli spot because I wanted lunch and dinner options without going to different places.
Ran by a kind older gentleman, this spot has hot food as well as cold deli subs and more.
If you want to pack a lunch or dinner for later, a variety of bowls and entrees are available.
I enjoyed my turkey sub…I just wish I had a bit more oil (or whatever great tasting sauce he put on it) to make it less dry.
I look forward to trying the hot food another day.

BEST baklava ever. I’ve been coming here for almost a decade for my baklava and I’ve tried it all over the US and never had a better baklava. The kindest man with the purest soul. Please come shop!! He has everything for great prices, and leave a tip;)

Love GB&D!! It has continued to keep pace with whatever the economy, downtown, COVID throws at us!! The prepared food is great, the cooked meals are so good…LOVED MY SAUSAGE, EGG & CHEESE this AM – THANKS TONY!! And their FRIED FISH & CHICKEN is delicious! It’s also a micro grocery store with many of the RIGHT things stocked!

I haven’t been to this deli in a few years. I used to frequent it when I lived in the area – delicious deli sandwiches. Due to COVID they have removed the tables and created a little market. I stopped in thinking I would have a sub but they had a buffet. I had a pork roast with rice and a steamed veggies. It was all good… I’m sure the deli is still great.

Granby Bistro and Deli is more of a take out kind of place. The food is very good. Not a lot of room inside but they have tables to sit out on the sidewalk. This is also a bit of a grocery store, I assume for those who are living in apartments near by.

We had a great experience in this establishment. It struck us as more of a deli or bodega versus a bistro. We got some delicious hummus and pita, a cannoli, and a bottle of wine. Our food was great, but the real standout was the service. The gentleman Adel, who was working–presumably the owner–was gracious, friendly, and didn’t rush us even though we walked in right before closing. I would patronize this business any time and recommend it to others in the area.

Went in for lunch with my partner. Place was empty, but we ordered a reuben, fried chicken and some pasta and potato salad. The chicken was ice cold, the guy microwaved the reuben before toasting it, and when we got home we realized that the bread for the reuben was covered in mold.
We brought the whole order back and he gave us a refund, but no apology. He genuinely looked surprised that it was moldy. When we returned I realized that everything in the warming tray was cold and congealed. I’ll never go here again. Stay far, far away.
