So we did a take out. The ambience and smell of the place really stood out. We got Funghi and Margherita and both of them was really good. Personally I liked Funghi, my date probably kept deciding till her last bite what she liked more.
I would love to be back here for dine in experience preferably and hopefully with the same company.
We preferred the pizzas with sauce, but liked that the non sauce pizzas were crispy, the saucy pizzas were softer, which I know is a super valid neopolitian pizza, it’s just not my favorite.
White beans ⭐⭐⭐⭐
– I loved this but it needed more tomatoes
– it felt too dry without more tomatoes but they were so delicious with them
– or maybe more olive oil or just something to cut it
– the bread was delicious
Citrus and fennel ⭐⭐⭐
– it’s pretty ok
– it’s better than a generic Caesar salad
– little bitter from the arugula
– the cheese really ties it together
Pomodorino ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
– little soggy but amazing sauce that made it worth the soggy
– really bright and delicious tomatoes
– anything with tomatoes in this place needs to be tried.
Funghi ⭐⭐⭐⭐
– so freaking crispy and delightful, so confused how the pomodoro was so soggy, it must have the tomatoes that did it
– really savory delicious mushrooms
I have eaten pizza in Rome and Milan many times, and this pizza stood up to the challenge to impress my taste.
It was simply perfection.
From the burrata to the tiramisu with two different pizzas in between.
The crust was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Felt like biting on a could.
The combination of the toppings was brilliant and simple.
I was left with a smile and a taste for more.
Until next time.
The vibe was relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect backdrop for a cozy dinner. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and just a delight to chat with. One of the highlights for us was watching our dishes being prepared right in front of us; it added an intimate touch to the whole experience.
When my margarita pizza arrived, I was blown away. Every bite was a burst of flavor—the dough was perfect, the sauce vibrant, and the cheese wonderfully fresh. To top it all off, I enjoyed a refreshing can of lemonata, which was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening.
What was particularly great is that my wife, who has to be mindful of gluten, found the menu incredibly accommodating. She loved her dish as well! Overall, it was a memorable night filled with delectable food and warm ambience. We can’t wait to return!
Margherita Pizza: it was simple and well-executed. The crust was crisp without being burnt, and the flavor of the olive oil really came through. The basil was fresh and fragrant, and the cheese was mild, allowing the sauce and crust to shine.
Diavola Pizza: The Diavola was another hit. The meat had a sweet, savory flavor that paired beautifully with the chiles, which added a fruity flavor to the pizza. Again, the crust was phenomenal—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The drizzle of honey tied everything together.
Tiramisu: This one was a miss for me. It was a little bland—the ricotta layer, in particular, could’ve used a touch of vanilla, in my opinion.
Service & Atmosphere: The service was excellent. The food came out quickly, and the servers were on point. Overall, a great experience.
I can’t wait to come back!
The atmosphere is lovely inside. The tones are warm, the art is nice, and the pink tile lines the back while by the pizza oven. We were sat unfortunately at the very first table which is typically not my preference but I understand given the time of day. The chef’s counter looked like a fun option if you wanted to mingle a little more and the owner I believe was the one cooking up the pies which is awesome.
Food overall was super tasty. It’s a lighter and doughier pizza than folks are maybe used to. Certainly more authentic neopolitan style. The flavors were rich and tasty. Dough had good flavor and the tomato sauce you could just tell was fresh. We wound up getting two pizzas and an app which I think is the right amount for two folks to share. The white bean spread was a delicious starter and came with tasty bread.
Service all around was great. Wait staff were kind and efficient. If anything I wished less folks had come in to ask about availability because it meant the cold air kept leaking in but I understand that isn’t in control of the restaurant. Great date night spot overall!
