I waited to rate until I tried it twice. I’m big into authenticity. But I get it. The way Mexican food is made on the west coast is not the same as out here. But the west coast has the closest to the real thing. I’m sure people out here love it but I am a food critic so I’m going to do my thing. I got the birria taco platter along with the enchilada and taco combo, as I wanted to try everything. It starts with chips and salsa, which are good. They are warm and the salsa is good. We didn’t wait long for the food. The service was good. The birria tacos were not as good as i hoped for. The meat was a bit chewy and the dip was a little bland. Birria is mouthwatering, and these weren’t. Los Agaves is a good example of good local Birria. The enchilada tasted like it was previously frozen. It very well might not have been, but it was bland. The meat had absolutely no flavor. The taco wasn’t bad. It had a hood amount of cheese and that taco meat seemed to be seasoned, unlike the meat in the enchilada. The beans were really good. But that’s my honest review.

Some pretty good Mexican food. The portions were smaller IMO than other restaurants in the local area as the prices were pretty comparable. Service was excellent and on point. Did seem to be somewhat short staffed today but they may be due to being Christmas Eve.

Initially we thought going to this restaurant or not since we are vegetarian and have some options on veggies but after looking at 4.6 star we made choice to go for it. After entering the fancy restaurant we started eating the chips and salsa and realised how great taste it is . The main dinner made us so full and the food is like feast in heaven hiye. Really enjoyed every piece and bit of it in the plate . Everything is awesome . We ate only veggie options but all are good

We went on a Friday evening. We were seated promptly. The dining room is huge with multiple rooms. The chips were warm and crisp. The salsa was delicious with a little spicy kick. We enjoyed the food. The service was friendly.

Go and get the Street Tacos Carnitas. You will not be mad about it. Melt in your mouth pork it’s delicious.
Service is great and attentive. Facilities and location are kept clean and in good condition. Very pleasant dining experience.
