How do you say “Whites only” without saying “Whites Only”
I ordered a lunch- time 13.49 Steak and Shrimp fajita and a small peach daiquiri. I returned the peach daiquiri because it taste like extremely sweetened non- alcoholic slushy. When I asked to pay I noticed my bill came to 19.86. The drink was properly removed but the lunch time Steak and Shrimp fajita was “up-charged” to 17.95.

AFTER I PAID. I politely asked for to see a menu and pointed out the discrepancy. The two gentlemen looked at each other and spoke in Spanish to each other.

So I wouldn’t be MISINTERPRETED as the typical “Angry Black Woman” aka a “Kesha” or whatever I told them to keep it! Because that will be the last 19.86 they’ll ever get from my kind!

…I’m not Caucasian but if this male dominated over- staffed establishment paid more attention to my dine-in experience as much as they tend to pleasing their Caucasian guest maybe the up charge would have been caught.

Either way, my black dollars were welcomed by the taken but not appreciated or valued

We decided to visit for the first time on Taco Tuesday, and the experience exceeded our expectations! We kicked off our evening with a couple of icy Pacifico beers and the skinny margarita, savoring their crispness as we munched on complimentary tortilla chips, perfectly paired with zesty salsa and a creamy white sauce. For our main course, we indulged in the special hard shell tacos, each a mouthwatering delight at just $1.49, and paired it with a flavorful enchilada plate that was bursting with taste. The food was incredible, and the service was warm and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by for a delicious meal that will leave you craving more!

From the moment I walked in, I knew I were in for a treat. The atmosphere at Gran Patron is so warm and inviting, with vibrant colors and a cozy feel that makes you want to settle in.
The service was outstanding. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. They were truly a pleasure to talk to and made the experience even better.
And the food… wow. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The Aqua Tacos were perfectly cooked and seasoned. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that goes into every plate. The flavors are authentic, bold, and absolutely delicious.
If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant that excels in every category—food, service, and atmosphere—you have to try Gran Patron Mexican Restaurant. I can’t wait to go back!

I personally come here all the time and eat here and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always been great well-priced and staff and service have always been exceptional. To be honest I am Mexican but I don’t speak Spanish I was raised in America and a lot of mexican restaurants they treat me differently when they find out that I cannot speak Spanish, but this place is not like that I feel that they treat everybody with kindness and respect regardless of race Creed national origin of sexuality I have black people in my family and we’ve come to here together and they’ve been treated just as good as somebody that’s not. So the comments about race from my perspective and experience are false. I’m not trying to minimize what somebody else went through in their experience here and how they may have felt but I just don’t see them being racist. I will continue to eat here.

Nice staff. Great food. Taco Tuesdays!

Lunch combos are reasonably priced and mix and match.

The tamales are beef and you should order some.

House Chipotle sauce available upon request.

Massive margaritas are also served.

The atmosphere at this Mexican restaurant was great, and they had an excellent selection of drinks that tasted amazing. However, there were a couple of things we didn’t enjoy.
Our waiter was a bit overwhelming, checking in every five minutes to see if everything was okay. While we appreciated the attentiveness, it felt excessive since everything was fine, and we were trying to enjoy time with friends.
Another issue was the bathroom—it was so hot it felt like a sauna. The sink faucet and handles were also hot to the touch, and by the time you went to wash your hands, you felt lightheaded. This definitely needs attention.
Otherwise, I’d gladly come back for the food, drinks, and atmosphere!

Excellent Mexican Food. Will definitely be back. We had the fried chicken chimichangas and beef street tacos. They had two different salsas and both were great. Margaritas were not too sour or too sweet.

Very nice and clean-looking restaurant. We are going back for our 2nd visit in a week. 1st time had the street tacos with 3 flavors of meat (steak, al pastor & carnitas). Steak & carnitas were very good. Al pastor was dry, but flavorful. They should probably use a cut other than pork loin because it’s too lean for a good al pastor. Charro beans were 5 star. Rice was good, but room for improvement. Monster margaritas are very good and you can eat the orchid. Miguel was a great server. Tortilla chips average, but habanero and tomatillo salsas were very tasty and hot .
