Came to leave a 5 star review after several visits and am shocked to see these few bad reviews! First of all, the place just opened a few weeks ago, obviously there will be a learning curve so if you’re not the patient, understanding type, maybe it’s not best to go the week they open. Second, I actually went opening day and have been back 4 times since. EVERYTHING I have ordered was delicious. I’ve had the chicken fried steak a couple of times, French toast, chicken and dressing, cheeseburger, and OMG the soft pretzel and the chocolate fried pie will knock your socks off! Waitresses are so friendly as well as the owners. I will be visiting them regularly to try everything they have on the menu.

Where do I begin? This is EXACTLY what East End needs. It has brought a breath of fresh to this town that was long overdue in the restaurant domain. It is beyond clean, the decor is fantastic and personal to Ellen. The food is not your everyday diner food . It has been carefully thought out and is upper echelon dishes; not greasy spoon that comes with a side of grease. The servers, which include the owners, are down home, down to Earth, friendly, personable yet professional. I am so happy this establishment made its way to East End. Yay Ellen and Brian.

All round Excellence; the food, the service and the atmosphere! Absolutely the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever eaten! Plus a most pleasant dining experience. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The dining area is roomy, well arranged and very clean. I look forward to eating here often and HIGHLY recommend to all locals and visitors or tourists traveling through the area to stop by and enjoy the experience of of fine dining at its best!!!

The food fresh and homemade they actually use butter no vegetable oils! Best breakfast around definitely coming back for lunch and dinner. The staff very friendly and welcoming and what a surprise the owner Ellen personally came by to make sure we were enjoying our breakfast! The decor is vintage fun. Even the bathrooms are fun. Comfortable padded chairs.
This is now our favorite go to restaurant!!

New favorite place to eat, especially for breakfast! All the staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Very clean and decor is cute and fun. Food has been amazing and portion sizes are very generous. You get a lot of bang for your buck at GGG. Lifetime customer here! Try it for yourself, you will love it!

Rude, lazy staff. When I arrived I was told I had to sit in a crowded area because the waitress obviously didn’t want to walk 5 steps to the right instead of to the left. After seated I was greeted by an overwhelming sound of a wastewater pumper truck just on the outside of the wall. I asked for my food to be switched to-go. When I got home I found my food had been dumped in the box with everything mixed.
What a joke.

The food was delicious…large portions and seasoned perfectly. The restaurant is very clean, well decorated, and inviting. The staff was pleasant and hospitable. We will definitely be going back!

The burger was a nice chunk of real meat (no frozen patties here), but it lacked flavor. The onion rings were soggy, and the fixings on the burger were slapdash. Very generic bun. This was a to-go order. We REALLY wanted to like this place. The staff were incredibly nice. Maybe we should try a different menu item for takeout.

Arrived for breakfast and was told they were out of biscuits so we ordered a baked potato which arrived still hard with a sprinkle of cheese which didn’t even begin to try and melt a sprinkle of 1 slice of bacon. Basically was a raw potato cut in half. Coffee was so bitter that even suger and cream did nothing for it. Owners response was “you want to leave over a baked potato?”
Sir if you can’t make a simple baked potato I have no faith in your other dishes . Will spend OUR money at EAST END CAFE.
