1/23/26 – ordered lunch here for the first time and it was well worth it.The chicken parm sandwich and fries was delicious. Restaurant overall was quiet as it seems to not be so busy at lunch but I don’t see why it shouldn’t be. Ordered the chicken parm and buffalo chicken tenders as well. The sandwich and fries was more than enough food so the tenders were overkill for me so I saved them for later. All around great food, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. Highly recommend giving it a try. I will certainly be going back for a second visit!

Found this place on Maps while in the Warwick are. Very happy we did. The menu isn’t huge, so you know what they offer they have perfected. The wings were crispy and on the recommendation of the server, the honey mustard sauce became a favorite. The pizza was great and the cheese was extremely creamy and tasted fresh.

Grainsley’s is handling the RI FOOD FIGHTS Lord of the Pies differently than most places. The logical move is to offer a basic cheese or pepperoni, keep it small, keep costs manageable. Grainsley’s went the other direction. Choose your style. Bar pie or New York. Any ten inch pie. Any toppings you want. They’re not interested in showing you the budget version. They want you to see what they actually make.
The room feels right. Lighting low enough to be comfortable without crossing into that territory where you’re using your phone as a flashlight to read toppings. You can settle in without feeling like you’re on display or sitting in a cave.
The service delivered. People who paid attention, helped when needed, smiled, seemed like they wanted to be there. No fake enthusiasm, no ignoring you until the check comes. Just great hospitality.
We got two pies. Meat lovers as a bar pie. Tour of Italy on New York style. They came out together.
The bar pie nailed it. Thin with structure. Crispy without turning brittle. The toppings were impressive. Pepperoni brought a bit of heat and a bit of tang. Sausage added fennel and richness. Bacon contributed smoke and salt. As soloists, each one was delicious on its own. But with every bite they worked together as a band, each element complementing the others instead of competing.
Tour of Italy shifted the equation. The New York style crust had more body, more chew, good color on the bottom. Those ricotta dollops scattered on top cut through everything with a creamy mildness that balanced the heavier flavors underneath. The sausage and pepperoni played their parts, but the ricotta changed the dynamic entirely. Made it lighter somehow while still being substantial.
The ten inch size hits the sweet spot. Big enough to share without turning into a competitive eating situation. Small enough that nobody’s tapping out halfway through. Smart call for a pizza crawl like this.
Offering both styles shows real confidence. Most places commit to one approach and perfect it. Grainsley’s is willing to let you choose and believes they’ll execute either one well. That’s not overconfidence, it’s capability.
Four pizzas deep, this spot registers differently. Quality ingredients, kitchen that knows what it’s doing, space that lets you relax, and top notch service. They didn’t water down their offering for the competition. They show you what they actually make. They make happy customers.
Definitely worth coming back when you’re not trying to eat six pizzas in one day. We will.

Katie was our bartender!!! She was so sweet and amazing! We had an old fashion and margarita! My favorite the pistachio martini for dessert! We had the Mozarella triangles handmade and so delicious. We ate them all. We had the meat lover’s pizza! Just amazing best pizza Ive had in a long time. Dont miss out on this place!

Came in for the pizza and ended up trying the mozzarella triangles after seeing a tshirt advertising them. They were homemade mozzarella sticks in the shape of a giant triangle with home made sauce for dipping. They were delicious! We than put in an order for a cheese and pepperoni bar pizza. The waitress ended up bringing us a basket of fries because our pizza was taking longer than usual. The fries were homemade and perfect. When the pizza’s arrived they were everything we hoped for. The girls working the bar were very sweet and personable. We will definitely be back !

So happy to have found this hole in the wall gem. Best bar pizza around in Rhode Island. Brings that south shore MA vibe to RI. Good cocktails and beer. Nice calm ambience, clean and well run. Excellent overlooked spot for a casual night out.

We recently had lunch at Grainsley and we were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. We had the Meatball Starter, Chicken Parmesan Sandwitch, and Chicken Buffalo Wrap. The food was very delicious and the drinks were awesome. This is a very cozy place to eat with real nice people working there. The chef is a master in the kitchen whipping up Magic on the plates. Looking forward to eating here again.

Everything we ate was incredible and their bar pizza is some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! It’s not too thin like a flatbread, has a little flop and the dough itself is so tasty because I believe bar pie has some butter in it.
For myself, I ate one Taste of Italy pizza $14 and one buffalo chicken $12. Both were delicious and I love the smooth ricotta along with tasty meatball chunks on the Taste of Italy. Then you can’t go wrong with buffalo chicken pizza, but I do have to say they needed to put more chicken on it. Taste of Italy had enough meat.
My brother got their Angry Hawaiian pizza ($14) and gave me a few slices. The taste was incredible and it wasn’t too spicy – the buffalo chicken pizza had more heat to it.
My brother also got their Cajun chicken wrap ($13) and his girl got a chicken Caesar wrap ($13). They looked so good, filled well, not dry and weren’t too small. They did say they love them.
Very casual atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly. My only con, besides the lack of chicken on the buff pizza, was this place has no cell phone service.
I’ll be back for sure – $10 for a cheese pizza? I’m in.

So this is my second time at Grainsley’s. The first was for pizza month in 2023. At the time the pizza was delicious, but took just over 45 minutes to come out (after about 20 we were informed the chef was on break). I reserved judgement assuming it was an off night, and because the actual serving staff was very kind and apologetic.
I went last night for wing month excited to give them a second chance. We sat down, were suggested the buffalo and garlic Parmesan wings, which we took the suggestion for, and ordered then with two iced teas. We were informed the tea was unsweetened, which was actually perfect for us as we prefer them that way.
The tea came out, definitively sweetened and flavored which was a bit of a disappointment, as the wings cooked and we continued browsing the menu. We planned to order a pizza when the wings came out that we could take home with us. The wings were brought out (a little over 30 minutes later) and before I could order a pizza togo the server/bartender had to run over to a table asking for him. We assumed he’d check in soon, so we started on our wings and they were delicious.
Meaty, well seasoned, saucy, and a little crispy, we were more than happy with them. Unfortunately, we didn’t see a server again until they were fine. We weren’t next for anything, but by then our hunger for a pIzza was gone and if it weren’t we wouldn’t have wanted to wait however long for it to cook.
The food is good, as were the prices, but the time it takes to get that food has been a bit much both times we were here. I’d go again with foodfights coupons, but idk that it’s a place I’d visit outside of that.

We ordered for the first time last night. Everything was excellent. Delicious pub style pizzas that were perfect for either 1 or even 2 people. The fried oreos were the best we’ve had in the area. They stayed crisp even after traveling back home and while we ate our food. One of our friends said the wings were the best take out wings he’s ever had. The homemade sauces & dressing were phenomenal. In all we ordered 4 pizzas, fried oreos, wings, boneless wings, chicken ceasar salad, and the BBQ fries. My one critique would be the fries didn’t keep well. However, that’s not unusual for loaded fries, it happens with the cheese coagulating. They were still good!
