My husband and I dined here on Saturday night. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation, yet were seated right away. The beer selection had some good IPAs and the cocktails spot on. Drinks came quickly and service was very good. From the appetizers to entrees to dessert, the food was great. Every dish was executed perfectly with fresh ingredients. Although the restaurant is attached to a hotel and is on the smaller side. the decor and ambiance was upscale. They also had a small sitting area for pre-dinner cocktails. We will be back again!
We had the Buffalo Ricotta, which was creamy with a subtle hint of lemon & served with a perfectly house made focaccia.
The calamari was ok & seasoned very nicely with a hint of heat.
For dinner, we ordered the Chicken Paillard Salad, the Miso Salmon, & the Lobster Cobb Salad. Everything was amazing, need i say more!!
We needed to try the dessert menu but were so pleasantly stuffed that we only managed to share the deliciously decadent Toffee Bread Pudding.
Thank you & looking forward to coming back
I don’t think there was a dedicated kids’ menu, at least not that I saw, but they did have soft drinks for children, which was appreciated. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Overall, we had a great experience, and I’m sure we’ll be back often!
Ordered the crab cake, French dip, & the seasonal cocktail (watermelon sugar). No complaints.
Then started seeing posts on instagram about the restaurant!

The food was good, the staff friendly. But, they need to decide what type of restaurant they want to be.
They could be a four-star restaurant, they could be a two-star restaurant. They just can’t allow the waiter, who brought me a check for $250 for two people, while wearing blue jeans and winter boots to decide.
Grain & Cane served complimentary and delicious and dense banana nut bread. We ordered disco fries to share with the table. The fries, cheese curd, and gravy (on the bottom) were outstanding! We could have licked the plate! Three of us ordered eggs benedict. I added lobster to mine. The additional spinach was yummy; we usually find that on eggs – florentine. The salad was fresh. If I had room to eat it all, I would have asked for extra dressing on the side. I don’t recall there being much dressing at all. The radishes were cut round and thinly, which made the salad look colorful. My hubby ordered the burger, which had too much pepper and was cooked medium rare and not medium. He didn’t tell the server. I wondered why he was eating more of my meal? LOL. All four of us shared the chocolate cake. Ooo la la, it was delicious and decadent! We also shared a scoop each of lemon sorbet, chocolate fudge ice cream, and vanilla ice cream. The lemon sorbet with the chocolate cake paired wonderfully, as well as the chocolate fudge ice cream and lemon sorbet. I love that combination. My friend and hubby ordered an apple cider and lemonade drink with a dried blood orange and cinnamon garnish. They loved every sip! Our other friend ordered a pretty martini cocktail. She liked that, too.
Our server Christine gladly took photos of us, too.
To start, we shared the disco fries, which were a perfect kickoff to the meal. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll, while I enjoyed the 10 oz Filet Mignon, and we shared the Yuca Tots (highly recommend—they were phenomenal!). For drinks, my wife had the Tama-Rita, and I went with the Pear Me Up, which quickly became our favorite, so we ordered a couple more.
We ended our meal with an Apple Cobbler and Pumpkin Latte Cake. Both desserts were generously portioned, making it easy to bring some leftovers home. All in all, this was an exceptional choice for a date night, and I’m thrilled we ended up here!
