Grain and Berry has quickly become one of our favorite spots! The bowls are packed with the freshest fruit — vibrant and full of flavor. Their flatbreads and toasts are just as impressive, with layers of flavor that feel both wholesome and indulgent. And the juices are outstanding, especially The Healer — so crisp, clean, and energizing, it’s become my go-to every visit.
What makes it even better is how much my daughters love the food here. It’s not easy finding a place that everyone in the family gets excited about, but Grain and Berry nails it every time. It’s such a welcome alternative to the typical dining options in the Back Mountain — fresh, creative, and healthy without ever sacrificing taste. Grain & Berry in Dallas, PA is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive, making you feel welcome every single time. Especially the tall handsome gentleman with the curly hair – he deserves a raise!
Their menu is packed with fresh, flavorful options — everything tastes so vibrant and delicious. Whether it’s their smoothie bowls, wraps, or fresh juices, you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and put care into every order.

The place is so cute and we had such high expectations upon reading the reviews. We ordered everything and were waiting about 15 minutes until I got my açaí bowl. Then we had to wait another 10 because my partner got a quesadilla. The picture says enough about the taste, as I don’t even think vegans would like it. I wouldn’t say anything but for 30 dollars you’d expect a little bit more too.

The food is DELICIOUS and fresh. and the restaurant is clean and a nice vibe, but my only issue is that they need to hire more staff during peak times. I haven’t seen more than two girls working the fruit preparation area during busy weekend days and they seem overwhelmed – to no fault of their own, esp as young kids. Every worker I have seen works efficiently and is very polite despite the pressure of there being many people waiting in line for service anytime. I usually order ahead for pickup and there have been a few times where the food wouldn’t even be ready despite me arriving a few min past my pickup time. This is usually what I see but my next paragraph touches on the alternative:

I ordered through DoorDash for my own pick up, but I have also seen DoorDash drivers stand around, waiting for someone to attend to their orders while the two workers on the food prep line attend to everything else. With the food items being frozen (açaí), this should not be. I think the experience for customers and the workers too would be greatly improved with a designated 3rd person floater on the food prep bar during peak times.

Anyone who has a complaint should have their heads checked. The food is fantastic and the service is top notch! We were greeted with many smiles and the greatest attitudes you can ever ask for. Goodness, where do I even begin. Holy cow! There is nothing quite like walking through those double doors to a total vibe, greeted by ms. miller and an exemplary whiff of the papaya goodness that they call “acai base”. Holy cannoli! Truly life changing. Such an incomparable experience to other life experiences. I’d put it up there with my wedding day and also the day I got married. Holy mackerel! I believe the workers thought I was a bit of an odd-ball when I couldn’t stop smiling after the first taste of that fresh mango topping. Also, peanut butter. Perchance. I felt like Mario when he finally crushed the goompa in the Mario series with dry bones and shy guy. Grain and berry! I will be back I promise. It was that good. I can’t believe I made it through grade school without grain and berry in my tum tum. Holy moly! Thought I was dreaming for a second there. Thank you to all who have taken part in this legendary expedition which has led me through my emotions and opened me up to real bowl. And also to ms. miller as well. And Kenny. Austin. Perchance. Berry and grains make my soul warm and fuzzy. Mmm
