While visiting Columbus, OH, I asked a few locals for their favorite ice cream spots, and they all pointed me to Graeter’s Ice Cream. I am so glad they did.
It was so good that I found myself thinking about it all week. The shop has a charming old school vibe that makes the whole experience feel nostalgic and special. The customer service was fantastic and the staff happily let us sample different flavors before we made our final choice, which made it even more fun.
Every flavor we tried was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality.
I will definitely be going back again and again. Highly recommend if you are in the Columbus area and craving amazing ice cream.

Overpriced 8$ for a waffle cone with 2 scoops is ridiculous. And the waffle cone isn’t even that good. The flavors are terrible, never have I been to an ice cream shop with flavors this lame. They didn’t even hook up the 2 scoop. Go to clown cone or udf both are far superior and significantly cheaper.

Great flavors, good amount of mix ins, just wish the portion sizes were bigger for what you pay, it’s a little pricey for what you get. Five star service! Fast and helpful crew that give you big sample size tasters if you want to try any of the flavors. If you see a long line, don’t be scared away because it goes really fast. Overall, flavors were great. We ordered key lime pie (a seasonal flavor) and really like that, and s’mores is super good too!

A local Columbus Ohio favorite! This location is on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington and even has a pretty good amount of parking. The service is friendly and welcoming. The interior is bright and clean. The icecream is delicious and unpretentious. I ordered the Mocha Chocolate chip shake and it’s delicious! See their menu and make sure to check out seasonal favorites!

My friend liked his ice cream in a waffle cone but I really did not like my vanilla shake. It tasted like they had added sugar syrup to it – so sickeningly sweet that it didn’t even taste creamy. It was also too thin. Nowhere near being worth the $6 price they charge for a SMALL. I couldn’t drink more than half, just too sugary.

Really nothing negative to say about this store; the service is really enjoyable as many are students and very friendly. They still provide samples and the seasonal flavors are better than the options stores have. The sugar cone is not so delicious.. that or they go stale throughout the day. There is outdoor “seating” for groups to enjoy. I had the seasonal peach flavor which was delicious though wouldn’t need the sugar added as the peach chunks were sweet enough.

Graeter’s is always popular and tastes amazing. I like their ice cream soda a lot. Highly recommend the peach flavor. This store is always popular with groups of ppl during the summer and they do a great job with friendly and fast service.

Their cinnamon ice cream is sooo good! The staff was READY to help us out almost to a point where they were too pushy. I would say it’s slightly more expensive than your normal ice cream store but it is definitely worth it
