Guess what two great institutions are joining forces to bring back family fun in dining?
I happened to stop by The Graduate two weeks ago to start up my weekly MANIC MAH JONG MONDAYS group 6:30-8pm, and discovered that two days ago, Mike from the Victory Grill has taken over The Graduate!
He plans on bringing back the place to the way is was before the fire: a full sports bar with your favorite alcohol refreshments, family pizza parties, and daily specials (I requested the BBQ Beef Spareribs on Thursdays which were one of my favorites!, and hopefully on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, maybe we could have a Prime Rib special!…just wishful thinking).
The bar will be in service by Thanksgiving.
Yes, Victory Grill & my Pacific Pedicabs go way back 2013 when Mike grilled the biggest hamburger in Stockton.
Come on in & tell Mike that you’re happy to have the ‘real’ Graduate back! And join me in learning to play Mah Jong (it’s easy like Poker & Gin Rummy) on our Manic MAH JONG Mondays 6:30-8pm.

The food is really great and I can’t recommend the Graduate enough one of my favorite places to eat growing up definitely glad they re opened and will definitely be back again

We stopped by on sunday afternoon for pizza and a good time, and thats what we got. Place was packed. We ordered a pizza, a few sandwiches and mozzarella sticks. Everything was great and food came out super quick for how busy they were. I was very impressed. This place is a stockton staple and Ill be back many more times.

The new owners are doing like it was back in the day. Full bar, great food, easy menu, and I’m sure someone in the back took raw ground beef and formed it into a patty with their own hands. The burgers were hearty with classic flavors. We got mozzarella sticks and they seemed homemade, not frozen crap. So good. Happy that the true spirit of the Graduate is back

We had our daughter’s 15th birthday there. It was a great time. The price was fantastic. The food was great. The atmosphere was amazing. Everybody had a good time. The staff was super helpful.

The pizza was reasonably priced and tasted okay but not great.
There’s a big machine gun shooting game with large speakers right by the tables, which is something I really don’t want to be hearing or seeing while eating. The pinball machine ate my dollar and they said they’d replace my dollar. They didn’t, but more importantly they didn’t look at the machine or mark it as out of order.

Giving it two stars just cause this place was a childhood favorite! Recently went back and ever since it reopened ( new management) it is not the same pizza is MID, fries were covered in oil , no more alcohol not one single person was in there on a Friday evening. This place used to be crackin especially on a Friday! Sucks to see this place go 🙁

Disappointed! I ordered a California club, sandwich and the bread was stale the chicken was dry and the bacon was cooked on a dirty grill at least the fry’s and Soda were good. definitely not like the original graduate.
