While in Prospect, KY I stopped for lunch at Gracious Plenty Cafe & Catering. They have a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, sides, & deserts in which to choose. I selected the club on toasted wheat and it included a pickle spear & bag of your choice of chips. The sandwhich was delicious and you even get to select the bread of your choice. The club includes ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, & mayo for $10.99. (I asked for no tomato and honey mustard instead of mayo) They offer canned drinks for $0.99 each. The service was fast and the food was great. Please give Gracious Plenty a try. You won’t be disappointed.

So delicious. I ordered a small tomato soup and pasta salad, and my husband had the soup of the day, which was beef chili, and we shared some truffle Parmesan fries. Let me tell you, while this combination seems random, all of these items shined. I am full from my meal, not hungry at all, and I’m drooling over that food. And I didn’t even try any of their more elaborate meals! I have to eat here again soon, it’s just too bad it’s not in my home town.

I tried Gracious Plenty for the first time today, it’s tucked away close to Kroger in prospect. I had the chicken salad sandwich, Swiss, lettuce on ciabatta toast with a pickle (a pretty darn good pickle I might add) and fries. The sandwich was phenomenal. It’s a basic chicken salad recipe with shredded chicken, celery, grapes and I think just seasonings but no actual onions. Simple recipe but just so very tasty. The fries were super similar to the Mc’s fries but were actually a smidge better served straight out of the fryer. Just salt and pepper, seasoning salt could be nice, but really good and not underdone or burnt. Can you tell by my paragraph review I’m a fan of Gracious Plenty?

I’ve seen this place several times and decided to give it a try. Got the BLT and a pasta salad. For the price I expected a little more. It was good, but the sandwich was the size of one you would make at home. The staff is really nice and helpful. They also have a large selection of items that you can take home and cook in your own oven like lasagna, hot brown casserole, and many others. That looked interesting and is what I will try the next time I go in. The dining area is a little Spartan, but it serves its purpose. Will definitely go back.

Gracious Plenty is a quaint little spot for a good sandwich in the Prospect area. I came in the lete morning hours and had there Turkey BLT sandwich and it was solid.

What a great place to stop for a bite! Three of us, we all loved our sandwiches. I definitely want to go back and try other food on the menu. Quaint little place. Service was welcoming and kind. Can’t wait to go back!

Perhaps I ordered the wrong items. The BLT was mostly fat and grease and the pasta salad was bland. Just pasta with no dressing, no seasoning – just cold pasta with a few tiny pieces of cheese and a couple of olives. It may have been good, had it some dressing on it. Not a great experience.

Great sandwich I kind wished it came with a side. I read didn’t look. I assumed it came with plain chips. Nope just a sandwich but a damn good one. I added bacon to my sandwich, it was great.

I was expecting the fish to be battered in house, but it was just fried out of the frozen bag. The portion of fries were alot however, I not worth the trip if you looking for a good fish sandwich.
