What a lovely place. We stayed in Catskill for the weekend, and Gracie’s was a 6 minute drive away. There are windows all around the restaurant and the restaurant sits above a lovely view of woods and a creek.

As a very established home cook I was not disappointed. I orders the BBQ half chicken which came with 2 sides. I choose Mac n Cheese and cheesy broccoli. Picture is only half of the order. Food was cooked to perfection. I had one of their homemade ginger soda while I waited for my Togo order. Outstanding. Took home a slice of homemade strawberry pie. Thoroughly enjoyed later that night.

We were so excited to try Gracie’s Luncheonette after hearing it had a great burger. We had dinner on a Saturday and were sat in front of the window which was a nice spot. However, we couldn’t help noticing how dirty the floor was at the tables next to us, and the entire time we were there, no one on the staff came to clean at all. We ordered a chocolate egg cream, which my husband said was very good. I got the smokehouse burger, $20 for one patty. He got the brisket, which was $28. The waitress didn’t ask how I wanted my burger to be cooked and turns out that was an issue because it was dry and fairly tasteless. Which was strange because there was bacon, onion rings, two bbq sauces, and smoked cheddar on the burger but it was all really bland. The hand cut fries were mostly soft, and also tasteless. My husband’s brisket was good but he got a small three piece portion, which felt stingy for the price. It came with a side of fried green tomatoes, which were mostly batter, with extremely thin slices of tomato. His mashed potatoes tasted like the boxed, dehydrated kind, which was gross. The cole slaw and cornbread muffin were good. I also want to shout out the seemingly home made hot sauce, which was very tasty. Our server never came to check on us after she brought us our meals. Maybe we caught them on a bad night but unfortunately due to the dirty floors, mediocre and over priced food, we won’t be back.

We had a very late lunch after visiting the nearby Mahayana Temple. The fries are super crunchy and positive reviews on all 4 sandwiches we ordered. Got some strawberry fritters and cinnamon rolls to go.

This is a quaint diner. We got off the NY Thruway to stop a any place we could find off the exit and found Grace’s. The service was excellent beautiful view out the window as well. We had lunch I had a Fried Green tomato BLT with fries. Great and large portion. We will definitely make this a regular stop when we travel this way again.

Stopped by this cute luncheonette right off the interstate. Food was delicious and fresh. Really loved the idea that most of their ingredients are sourced from local farms and they make their own condiments and sodas! I tried the Gracie burger at the first visit and it was very fresh with their house made truck sauce which tasted similar if not better than the Mac sauce. The views from this luncheonette were breath taking. Will definitely be back again!!

Great location and ambiance, staff is super friendly, and the food/drinks are amazing! I had the brisket… Only problem was it was so good my kids stole like half my meal! It was a huge portion though.

A must visit when in the Catskills! The food here is incredible and always fresh. Everything is homemade, even the donuts! I absolutely love this place and cannot wait to come back!

Loved it so much I came here twice during my trip. We got the Gracies Burger and Steak & Eggs, steak was small but delicious, burger was also great! Their biscuits are to die for, especially with that sausage gravy. Second time around we got the Grilled Steak and Smoked Brisket. Steak was amazing, right amount of sear and fat. The brisket was too salty, would have preferred it in a sandwich but still good flavor. Also the caramel apple milkshake and cinnamon apple donut was Decadent . Come by in the morning for the view outside the window, it was beautiful.

Came for breakfast, and oh man – the brisket hash and french toast were out of this world. Gracie’s unique coconut cream iced coffee was delicious as well. The space was bright and cheerful; my only critique is that the space may be in need of some repair (for example, there were some prominent gaps between the wood floorboards on which someone can trip). The waitress was kind and attentive, A+ service. I am so looking forward to coming back when I’m in the area…still thinking about that french toast and brisket hash…
