Hidden gem near Tipp Hill, Far Westside area in Village of Solvay area. Portions are large and affordable. Place is clean, especially for one server on the floor.

Loved the food!! Got the Frying Pan combo I think it was called, and it was so good! The staff were nice, and it’s a nice, quiet cafe to go to!

A wonderful experience. The portions are extremely generous while not being wasteful, the food was really delicious (especially the home fries!), and we were served quickly and treated with kindness. We are hoping to start coming every Sunday!
We got omelets, home fries, pancakes, and coffee. The pancakes were huge!!

Looking at the outside you don’t expect much. Once you open the front door you unlock a Gem!! Tasty home made food, decent portions & friendly environment.
The dining room was a little cold but not a big deal. Two omelets with the fixings, side of links and a side of homemade corned beef hash $41. Overall a great place and would 100% stop again.

Sweet little place. On a cold drizzly morning it was a welcome respite for us. We’re visiting from Canada so it was fun to be able to have biscuits with country gravy. So good. My boys enjoyed the stuffed French toast. Staff was incredibly welcoming & kind. Overall very cozy.

Great sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a toasted English muffin. The sandwich normally comes with scrambled eggs, but I ordered mine with a fried egg over medium. The partially runny yolk added nice moisture and taste to the sandwich. The coffee was definitely better than you find at most diners. This was my first time eating here, but I’ll be back to try other items from their menu. They are located just east of Westvale Plaza on Charles Ave. UPDATE-1: Returned for lunch and ordered a two-patty smash burger. It was quite good with crusty edges, despite being a bit greasy. Also, the lettuce was tough and I removed it. The accompanying fries were not crispy. The fact that they were dry inside suggested they had been under a heat lamp for a while. My companions enjoyed their omelet and frittata. The diner starts serving lunch at 11:00 a.m., but breakfast is available all day. So, if you arrive between 11:00 and 2:00, you can order lunch or breakfast. I’ve included photos of their menu as I found it difficult to find a current one online. UPDATE-2: Sometimes you have to eat at a restaurant several times before you get a clear impression of how they do things. I returned to have the smashburger again. I ordered it with just cheese and the special sauce as they had no hamburger pickles, but they did provide a dill spear on the side. Unfortunately, the greasiness was more pronounced this time, and I decided I wouldn’t order the smash burger again. Since I didn’t care for the fries the first time, I asked if I could have a side salad in place of the fries. I was told no. I asked if I could have a side salad if I paid an upcharge. Again, the answer was no. So, I had potato salad in place of the fries. As a result of my experience during my second and third visits, I lowered my rating of the restaurant, assigning five points for breakfast and two for lunch resulting in an average score of 3.5.

Love Gracie’s Kitchen. Delicious food, great service, and a cozy “hole in the wall” vibe. Their French toast can’t be beat. Portion sizes are generous, and the food is truly home cooked. Highly recommend Gracie’s Kitchen!

Was looking for a diner and came across Gracie’s Kitchen! Best place for breakfast or lunch in the area. We were attending horse show at the Fairgrounds and Gracie’s Kitchen is about 7mins away. Don’t let the area fool you, this place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy, the service top notch and real homemade food delicious! We will be returning as we weren’t impressed with the overpriced diners.
