My wife and I eat here all the time. It’s a true local gem in Commack. If you love Mexican food, this is by far the best spot around. The staff is always super kind and attentive, and the food is authentic, fresh, and consistently delicious. The drinks are amazing too. We just placed a catering order last night for 20 people and it was absolutely perfect. Can’t say enough great things about this place. It’s important to us to support local businesses. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely absurdly below par experience for the price. When we walked in we (being from Texas) assumed it would be taqueria style…and prices. The food was beyond sub par. Bland. Tiny portions. The rice and beans were so awful we couldn’t eat them. The service never refilled water, never asked about refills. $20 minimum per plate is RIDICULOUS for the food or the experience. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Excellent small Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and greeted us when we arrived and left . They had very quick service and constantly came around filling water and asking if we needed anything. The enchiladas were very good and the sauce was one of the best I’ve had. The margaritas were also very good and reasonably priced. They also have happy hour which I will be going back for. Definitely recommend!

We ate there tonight and the food was delicious! It was our first time there. So fresh, authentic and tasty! The service was good and their margaritas and Mojito drinks were perfect! I love how they seasoned the steak too. I’m glad they opened here in Commack. We will be back!

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars because they discriminate against disabled veterans. My husband is a retired marine who needs a service dog. We entered the restaurant at lunchtime and had to stand there, waiting awkwardly for five minutes for anyone to notice we were there. When the man finally approached us, he told us we could not have the dog in the restaurant. We gently told him she was a service dog. He has to see her identification card. We told him that there is no such thing and the federal law states that no such card is required. We patiently informed him that he’s allowed to ask two questions, including if the dog is required due to a disability and what act she performs. He said it’s not him. It’s his other customers he has to account for we told him no it is the law that he should be following. We were embarrassed and left. Awful. Veterans should be treated better. I understand that people with fake emotional support. Dogs are a nuisance, but my husband dog is a perfectly trained legitimate service dog and were denied service because of his need for her. Do better and learn the law.
If you’re deciding on a place to eat, please do not choose a business that discriminates against veterans. Filettos down the road welcomed us with open arms and we had a great meal there.

Service was incredibly slow & rather incompetent. They had an issue providing us w/ four separate bills we required for our expense report. I wondered what the delay was so I went to check only to find the the waitresses having a pow-wow while one picked at her leg. The food was okay: nice presentation, but rather bland for Mexican.

We went to this place for Taco Tuesday and an order of 3 regular tacos was $26 plus tax plus tip. The atmosphere was not right for a Mexican spot, felt like a funeral. $26 for 3 small tacos with no sides didn’t feel right especially if they put it on a Tuesday special menu making it seem like it’s a great deal lol. I do not recommend this place!

Fantastic meal here last night. We had tacos and grilled chicken. Both were awesome. Beware of the homemade hot sauce, it’s delicious but it’s really hot. We loved that too! Great service and staff. Good prices.

Great drinks, great food! I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a nice Mexican restaurant that’s authentic. My ONLY complaint would be not enough staff. However I will not allow that to bring down my review on how great the food truly is.
