This was our go to bar on a recent Jersey stay. Fantastic selection of beers and spirits. We had brunch one day and food was superb. Doc’s cider was favourite tipple. Staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful.

Grace O’Malley’s is an awesome spot right across from Porta on Grove—super convenient and a perfect place to crush some beers and catch a game. It’s got that classic Irish pub feel: no frills, just a solid, welcoming atmosphere.

Drink prices are great, especially for the area, and the staff was friendly and on point the whole time. We didn’t try the food this time, but we’ll definitely be back for it soon.

If you’re after a chill vibe, cold beer, and a place to hang with friends or watch some sports, Grace O’Malley’s is a no-brainer.

Best part – service & kitchen open until late, we had full dinner close to 11 PM on Easter weekend. Good portions, draft beer & cocktails. They also have a big list of whiskey – a separate menu addition.
Tried: chicken fingers (very good), Bangers & Mash (excellent), Deli Style Ruben ( good). Washed with Guinness Stout & Snake Bite.

Suggestions: Bangers & Mash is a must, add preferred whiskey or Snake Bite

A cool spot to watch some games and enjoy a late night meal.

Stopped by to watch some football and was quickly seated at a table. Plenty of screens to go around to watch games of interest. Kitchen opens late into the wee hours so you’ll still be able to get a proper meal. I didn’t get a proper meal but an assortment of appetizers that were all well executed. The batter in the onion rings were perfection.

Service prompt and hospitable. No doubt I’ll be back.

Nice outdoor dining and drinks. Wonderful staff and ok food. Unfortunately my totally greasy fries could have made my curry chicken more appealing. Anyway cheers

Great Irish themed bar. As I’ve said in the past authenticity is subjective but it’s generally authentic. Great selection of Irish whiskey, Irish beer (and many others), and traditional foods. Food is excellent, ambiance is solid, and the staff is nice.

One of the chillest spots in Jersey City.
I’ve stopped by Grace O’Malley’s a couple times while staying overnight in the area, and it’s hands down one of the best bars around. Great atmosphere, friendly bartenders, and a solid crowd. The Old Fashioned was spot on. Right in the heart of the party district, but feels more relaxed than some of the louder spots nearby. If I’m back in Jersey City, I’ll definitely return.

A nice Irish pub that seemed to be run by a Mexican family. The service was great. The food was just OK. The drinks just OK.
