I was a bit surprised when I went in I was thinking its another Angelo’s type. I was interested to see their pizza being so used to getting the round kind. Tried one and enjoyed it so I got 2 more different flavors ofcourse and it sure delight my senses. The people there are great very courteous and patient. I am a bit big so inside table chairs are tight. Outside chairs were perfect. I plan to go back and try more flavors. Yummy.

I loved the pizzas here!! Sadly I only had room for one type – sausage and mushroom. I love that they reheat so it’s perfectly warm and crispy. They have plenty, plenty of seating throughout the establishment (where they also sell gelato!!). Check this place out if you’re in the area and craving some pizza

Great place for coffee, pizza and gelato! Different tastes of pizza with a crispy crust and delicious toppings. I wished for more vegetarian options but meat lovers will have plenty of options. They come in a cute little to go box (2 fit in here) and they were super tasty! Easy to eat with one hand. There is a nice little courtyard where you can sit in the shade and wind, there is space to sit inside and soon the diner will open for breakfast and lunch. They just opened and were super friendly, explained me the dough process and pizza arrives super quick. Will definitely come back. It was delicious!! Please make more non -meat options with artichokes :))

I have to agree with other reviewers who complained about the junior staff, long waits and lack of any communication. We waited 30 minutes for pizza today — while it was busy lots of others had their food delivered.
Probably won’t come back for a long time unfortunately and no longer recommend.

They have over 20+ options for pizza, all amazing and all can be made gluten free.
Multiple gelato options with over a dozen or more flavors.
They also have a full diner as well with incredible food.
Pizza, Diner and Gelato. Just go, you won’t be disappointed.
Prices are excellent for the area.

They have the best pizza and gelato products in town. Every thing is super fresh and they have super creative pizza combinations and gelato flavors.
Our favorite pizza was the Pepperonata, Let Me Up (vegan) and Cacio e Pepe. We also tried an olive oil agave gelato and peanut butter chocolate which was as creamy as that sounds. There were also tons of vegan gelato flavors which were so good too.

We had dinner at GP Diner on a Friday at around 6 pm and it wasn’t very crowded. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. We didn’t try anything off the diner menu and went straight to the pizza and gelato. The pizza and gelato are just as good as Gelati & Pecatti in North Park. They had a lot of choices and everything was served warm, quickly, and tasted great! I would definitely recommend coming here for Roman style pizza and gelato. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot so you have to look around.

Loved, loved, loved our experience here. Luca, the owner and chef, made us this amazing burger (only $19), and my friend had the chicken pot pie (equally delicious). Varied menu with lots of options, casual laid back atmosphere, lots of food for the price, super friendly staff that made sure we were happy.
They have a location in North Park San Diego and opening another in San Clemente soon. We are happy!!!

For the price I wasn’t super satisfied with the food tbh. The flavors of the pizza we got were a bit off, but crust was good. I appreciate that they had a lot of variety. Didn’t try the gelato so can’t say how that is but it looked good. It was just a bit pricey.

They recently changed their menu options, making it more focused towards pizza, no burgers anymore.
They have a few seating areas, one in the same building as the pizzas, right across from the Gelato selections, the covered corridor between the front and back small building, and in the back building. The corridor had great air flow for a nice breeze.
Staff were very pleasant, we had a new gal in training there the day we went -super sweet gal.
They have parking on the street and a small lot right behind the building.
Easy to get to, easy to find, great people watching spot.
