This is a hidden gem!! I’m so glad I came across this place. The food is AMAZING!! I got the catfish sandwich for lunch and it was perfect! Well seasoned, super hot and fresh, the portion was huge for only $5.99 and that came with a whole bunch of fries. I received the best service from the lady at the front and she added some mild sauce for me to try and it was so good! I liked it so much the next day I went back and got it again. I can’t wait to try their whole menu!

I found this place by accident and I love it. The guy that works the register up front (I’m assuming the owner) is a really nice guy that works hard all the time. The lunch special fish sandwich is a great deal and the fish is cooked very well. It’s seasoned well and he includes hot sauce and tartar sauce if you need it. It takes about 15 minutes to get your order, but that’s because it is cooked to order and worth the wait!! I eat here every chance I get. I can vouch for the catfish and whiting.

Y’all, the hot chicken wings are simply amazing! It’s this lightly breaded crust with this flavor that hits your mouth as soon you take a bite! Not too mild, not too hot, just perfect and that taste is unmatched for me! I recommend you try them out !

I tried this place for the first time. The catfish was seasoned and shrimp was good. The mild sauce was delicious with my shrimp. The portions were plenty so I was able to share. The food was hot and fresh. I will definitely be back.

Me and my girlfriend tried Gowdy’s for the first time today and we were both thoroughly impressed! The service was timely and very friendly. I personally received a recommendation on a meal based off of wanting both chicken and fish. When we got the food home, it looked exactly as advertised and tasted just as great! If you haven’t had Gowdy’s food I suggest giving them a try… you’ll be back. I know we will!

Had Gowdy’s for the first time today. Let me tell you. HANDS DOWN BEST FISH and CHICKEN in and around NASHVILLE area. Honey hot was amazing, Chicken seasoned, fish fried hard, good size wings, etc. I don’t eat many fries but I smashed these. Took 24 mins to cook but WELL WORTH the wait. I have no plans to eat fish or chicken from anywhere else.
Oh and prices are on point as well.

Excellent! My husband and I tried it for the first time today and have zero complaints. The food is well priced for the portion size. It is very favorable and cooked to order so it’s fresh. We tried the perch, chicken, shrimp and claims. Please support this establishment! We will return!
