Excellent teriyaki spot. Consistently flavorful, generous portions, and quality meat cooked properly—not drowned in sauce. Rice is solid, vegetables are fresh, and the prices are fair for what you get. Fast, reliable, and exactly what you want when you’re craving good teriyaki without gimmicks. Customer service is great, I think they moved him elsewhere. It’s a family run business.

I was lucky the little old lady was there. She was nice and even if they were not open yet she took my order as she said I looked hungry. Food is great and beef is tender and not like rubber.
The tables and stuff were clean but you can tell they are weather worn from lots of use and the sun from windows.
You can tell the place is watched over by people but couldn’t tell if they are nice or not. If you don’t feel safe in less reputable places don’t go here even if it’s a shame there food is good.

I have been coming here for over 10 years, and it pains me to say this, but Gourmet Teriyaki has fallen off hard.
They need to get the angry guy out of the kitchen, he cooks like he hates his life.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Gourmet Teriyaki, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of sizzling teriyaki that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere was cozy yet retro back in 90’s where my parents used to took me for dinner in Japan. perfect for both take out dinners and casual gatherings.
Now, onto the star of the show—the food. The teriyaki dishes were nothing short of perfection. I ordered spicy teriyaki, regular teriyaki, bbq pork and egg roll and pot stickers. The meat was tender and succulent, coated in a luscious teriyaki glaze that struck the ideal balance between sweet and savory. The side dishes, from the egg rolls to the gyoza, were equally impressive, showcasing the chef’s commitment to quality and authenticity. Portions are generous and it’s more than enough for the whole family.
Some people complained about the front desk person taking orders. I agree that he was not the warmest cahier but was not rude at all. He just says whatever to himself a lot. One of the workers apologized said he never messes up the order and he is a really sweet guy, he doesn’t mean any harm.
Whether you’re a teriyaki aficionado or new to the cuisine, this restaurant has something to offer everyone. It’s clear that the chefs take pride in their craft, and it shines through in every dish. I cannot recommend Teriyaki Restaurant highly enough. It’s a true gem in the world of teriyaki cuisine.

Very good food and quickly delivered. Whether take out or eat in, your food will be in a Styrofoam box, which is a benefit if you have leftovers, which you might, because the potions are large.
All of the prices here and on their official site are off by a dollar or two.
Also, if you getting take out, get your drinks elsewhere. The bottles and cans are outrageously priced. If you eat in, they have a machine (hidden in a corner, I didn’t realize until I heard another customer ask for it or a sequential visit.

I live close by and visit this restaurant every other week. Never had an issue with any impolite cashier. FWIW every time I went in I was greeted by a pretty nice guy. The food is absolutely top notch and portion size is 2x dinner for me.
