We welcomed the New Year here and had a truly delightful experience. The cuisine was excellent from start to finish — from the appetizers to the main course, every detail was executed exactly as it should be.

The live music beautifully complemented the evening, adding warmth and elegance to the atmosphere. Service was attentive, gracious, and seamless throughout.

A refined and memorable way to celebrate a special night.

First of all when you walk in and you see the way that the napkins are folded, I was just amazed by that. Call me easily entertained, but I thought their napkins were really cool! Anyway, the decor in here is really amazing but so is the food and the service was great! A local told us to go here and I’m so glad they did. We ended up splitting the pasta with the meat and the sauce, and I forget what it was called but it was so dang good! See the picture attached. Next time I’m in Temecula, I’ll definitely come back.

One of our Favorite Italian restaurants in the Temecula area. Food and service are always top notch. They feature wine and olive oil from their own farm and winery. The specials are always great. Never disappoints.

Tldr: Hostess was kind when we came in and let us know she would be right back. Our server was not skilled enough for how many tables she was sat with creating a really bad experience for us and at the end of the night then mocked me and actively avoided saying goodbye to us. Full experience: The hostess was about to walk away for a second and was genuinely nice. She smiled and said hello welcome, I’ll be right with you.
We stood there for about 6 minutes. Next we were sat, and I knew it was going to be poor service when we were sat because the server was over sat with a large party who she prioritized their experience over ours. We sat at our table for 8 minutes (yes. I looked at my watch and counted because I was hungry and ready to just leave) before she came up to us (but not even to take our order, just to greet us) Her SA came by with water and was really kind. We had fully looked at the menu already before she came by. Finally, she walked up and said, “I’ll be right with you” then proceeded to make us wait another 3 minutes. The table next to us got desert, and the man at the table handed her his card to pay and told her to take her time, she grabbed it, turned, looked at us, like she was going to take our order, then decided nah I’ll charge his card first then take their order (which is what she did).A stronger server would have been more lean with their time, realize they have a dessert to finish, pivot to take an order, then go back to charge a card and ring and order simultaneously. She came back, didn’t tell us any specials, didn’t really care**, said “Looks like you’re ready to order ” or some variation of that. Can’t recall her exact words but it was enough for us for us to realize if we don’t order everything up front, nothing will come out for another hour.
We asked for samples of two wines, ordered a “starter” and two plates. We ate 2 baskets of bread before the wine samples came out. At this point I’m ready to ask for everything to go but my husband asked me to be patient and that it was okay, we were already here, no reason to get up and leave now.
We get the wine samples and proceed to wait for another 10 minutes before I finally asked the SA if we could order two glasses of wine. To which, he asked the server to come back. Note all the while, the server in the section next to us was watching our table the entire time, glancing at us, being calm with her tables and could tell we were frustrated but didn’t even try to check on us. (Not her monkeys. Not here circus, right?)
Server comes back, gets our wine order, then our entrees don’t come out for a reallllllyyyyyy long time. Makes me think she forgot to ring them in and pretended it was a kitchen error. Lady, I was a server and a bartender, I know the game.
Food comes out and she finally checks on us, I thought that her night was starting to slow down so I wanted to share that we decided to get the lasagna and the fettuccine Bolognese because we have a favorite spot up by us and like to compare Bolognese at different Italian restaurants so we said it came in second to the place that we really like, she laughed, walked away we finished our orders, asked for a box, and then with a less inviting tone after we denied a desert menu she said “oh you didn’t want to judge our tiramisu?” That was not a friendly tone in the way that she had said it so I said no… we’d like the check she came back, we paid, as we stood up very slowly to walk out of the restaurant I made eye contact with her and she watched us stand up and get maybe 6 ft from her and instead of saying goodbye she turned around and proceeded to talk to a different server instead of wishing us a good night

Second time I have been here with my wife, service was great food was wonderful. We had the meat sauce pasta and the lobster ravioli with 2 helpings of calamari as it was wonderful, it was fresh crispy and had lovely texture very very delicious. Great place for a nice date night or just a bite to eat. I feel that most the reviews on here are petty or people who where already in a bad mood this place is amazing not once has my food ever felt “microwaved” none the less food was amazing service amazing they made sure water was always topped off and that our bred never ran out and where smiles all around… WE WILL BE BACK

From the moment we walked in, our experience at Gourmet Italia was special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff immediately made us feel welcome. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive, guiding us through the menu with care and enthusiasm.

As we were seated, we heard the soft, beautiful notes of live piano music filling the space. We asked if we could be seated a bit closer, and the staff was more than happy to accommodate—such a thoughtful touch that truly elevated the evening.

The food was nothing short of incredible. We started with the Caesar salad, crisp and flavorful, then enjoyed the fettuccine bolognese and the tortellini alla Benigi, both perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. We added a side of grilled chicken breast, which was tender and well-seasoned. To finish, we shared a scoop of chocolate gelato—just the right amount of sweetness to end the meal on a high note.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers both outstanding food and a memorable dining experience, but this spot does just that. We will absolutely be back!

I visited this establishment, hoping to enjoy some lasagna. The initial hospitality wasn’t particularly welcoming, although our server was kind and attentive. We ordered two dishes with a Caesar salad and were surprised to find a fresh anchovy in the salad, which wasn’t listed on the menu. Unfortunately, we couldn’t decline the salad once it arrived, and we discovered the anchovy. Since the Caesar salad wasn’t listed in the menu, it would have been nice to be told just in case someone dislikes fish/ anchovy. The lemon chicken with vegetables was excessively salty and oily. The lasagna was acceptable, though our experience was negatively impacted by the anchovy. The prices were high, and the overall quality of the food wasn’t exceptional. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment, nor do I plan to return. I was quite disappointed with my visit and the food.
