Nice and cozy little spot that serves some great and delicious food. Very flavorful and not too spicy but yet perfectly seasoned. My husband and I enjoyed every bite.

Very tasty, home made food and clean place, huge parking. I can’t expect people who consider themselves very high profile and have expensive houses and expensive cars to find free food around them. If these people do not like the food of a place, then why do they like to eat there again and again. I think they do not know the definition of food and the value of food and the cost of food. A spoonful of leftover food in dinner is also asked for a box to go with take out. My request is that the guest going to any restaurant should respect the resturant. Because restaurants are there to serve the community. The community should respect every business. If you don’t like it personally then avoid that place but don’t bully or discriminate anyone with your bad comments. Hope you understand it well. Blogger HK

This place has been around forever. The food used to be excellent. It was always busy. But looks like it’s been taken over by new management. Beware Beware. Food was absolutely terrible. The samosas and snacks on the hot wok were cold and stale. This is at 2pm on a Saturday when it peak lunch h buffet time. The goat curry was aweful. Out of the 3 pcs I picked two of them were just bones. The 3rd pc that had some meat on it was uncooked. The palak paneer had no flavor at all. The tandoori chicken looked it was cooked a year ago and re-heated 12 times. Ordered a sweet lassi to wash everything down. It tasted so bad. For no reason there was rose flavor to the sweet lassi unless it was dish washing liquid that I was tasting with the lassi. And finally the Kheer was totally watered down. As I was paying the bill – saw a freezer with the kulfi ice cream on the stick. I grabbed one thinking they can’t mess this up since they didn’t actually make it. It’s a packaged item. Wrong!! As soon as I opened it. It was covered in ice from being freezer burnt. So I paid $28 for this punishment which I still don’t know how when the lunch buffet was only $18.

Let me start off by saying that this is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston! I usually don’t write reviews but I HAD to write one. The Eggplant Bartha is one of my favorites, as well as the Paneer tikka Masala. Paneer refers to Indian cottage cheese that is made fresh at the restaurant. Both dishes are absolutely great. The eggplant is served in the buffet that is from 11-3PM everyday. In my opinion, the buffet is completely worth it given the food smells and IS fresh everyday. This is my third time here but I will continue to come back every week. Very clean, fresh, and zen atmosphere.

Fairly average, the buffet lunch had a sensible amount of options, although only one curry dish was available.

GOURMET INDIA!!!! The name of this restaurant says it all. Tucked away in this quiet little mall area off of Westheimer and hwy 6 is this near fine dining restaurant. The interior features a relaxing and formal setting with formal cloths and table settings and calming music to set the mood. The service is friendly and professional. We were seated quickly and our beverages brought to our table within a few minutes. We inspected the 20 plus item buffet and decided upon that. Each item had its unique indian cuisine presentation and flavor. Mmmm….my mouth is still watering! The fresh soft tortilla type bread was AMAZING and I dipped it in almost ech dish I sampled. The $13 lunch buffet was inexpensive for what you can eat. You just have to experience this place.

Probably the best tasting Indian place in Houston to my liking. Don’t be fooled by the not so glamorous exterior. The food is amazing. The chicken and lamb were perfectly cooked. Great service as well. My wife, who is a vegetarian, enjoyed it as well. This will be my go to place in the area. By the way, the naan was delicious!!
