Overall solid place! Been here multiple times (only for hibachi) and my highlights are the service; which the hibachi chef and the server are funny, and nice servers! My other highlight is the atmosphere, which is very cozy and comfortable. Also the cute cat bot is so cute and great! Now the food, I don’t know what to think. Some times it has been very good (4 stars) but others, steak and scallops has been undercooked, eggs had been undercooked ruining the fried rice. But it can be good but sometimes not so great. Overall solid place!

Excellent sushi and Asian dishes really made this “treat” dinner worth it. For several dishes (3 sushi rolls, 1 entree and an appetizer) $100 including a good tip was very reasonable.
The ginger shrimp & green beans were Stellar! The Special Rainbow Roll was out of this world. Delicious!

I use to go here a few years back when I lived in the area and always enjoyed it. I really enjoy reviewing Asian restaurants. This is more of a Chinese/Japanese fusion restaurant. I happened to be in the area the other day, and decided to check it out.
We walked in were greeted by very friendly staff. Modern decor with booths, tables and a large bar. Everything looked very clean.
I have to note that I have rated close to 100 Asian restaurants. I can cook the majority of the dishes. With that said, Gourmet Garden make one of the best Hot and Sour Soups that I have ever had. Boston, NYC, LA, Miami. This is legit with the perfect fillers, tofu, black fungus, golden needle just to name a few. It is thick with that strong flavor we grew up on. It does have a slightly higher heat level which really complimented it. Have some napkins ready. After finishing it, trust me you will eat it all. You might also look like you’ve been pepper sprayed. It will clear out your sinuses, numb your face and tickle your toes. It really is a great combination and is in my top 3 out of the hundred or so I have had.
To be honest, I was in the area to go to another Chinese restaurant to have amazing Chinese ribs but they were closed. I think it’s fate. It lead me to that mind blowing Hot and Sour Soup and I found some other great vittles too.
As a fusion restaurant, they didn’t have traditional Chinese Spareribs on the Bone. They did however have Thai ribs!! These were sticky, tangy, sweet falling off the bone goodness! I highly recommend.
Lobster Sauce and Pork Fried Rice combination was very solid. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed their Lobster Sauce. Flavors were on point.
Egg Rolls were more of the fusion style heavy on the cabbage. They made a nice vessel to have some of the hot mustard that after taking to big a glob you’re chugging water and want to take the fetal position. These were good with duck sauce and hot mustard!
My daughter had Sushi and really liked it!
Such a great area for Chinese Food. Starting in Sharon with authentic Chinese food down through Canton and Stoughton! A lot of great choices. The more we support them, we get to keep having choices. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I recently made a very popular post for this restourant, with over 52k veiws and decided to come back to see how the food was again, I ordered the general gao’s chicken again, and although my family and I all agreed there was no spice to it, I definetly got a lot more food this time and the outside was crispy and the inside was very hot, which meant that it eventually cooled to the perfect temperature, the server was very nice, and I would definetly rate this five stars but I did see a employe walk out of the bathroom, wipe their hand on a rag, and then proceed to wipe a table with the same rag, which I found very unsanitary

I ordered veggies delight and that was hair in my plate asking about changing and they chang only plate. Was missing my rice and last I am taking about that they say take to go. And last when I am paying they say you have to pay with tips. I don’t know tipping is obligated.

We purchased gong bao chicken as a take out order. We were very disappointed with this dish. The chicken was fried in a heavy gummy batter. The chicken pieces were so small you could barely tell you were eating any chicken at all. Whatever chicken there was tasted very fatty. Would never go here again or recommend it to anyone.

Can be pricey. Clean bathrooms. Good service. Lots of free parking. They have regular tables, bar seats and hibachi tops. Big menu. Some tvs at the bar. Biggest disappointment was when you order green tea they gave you hot water and a tea bag. Could have done that at home.

Our take out tonight was extremely disappointing. A waste of $65.
The “house fried rice is white rice with bits of chicken=tasteless.
The chicken wings…I only bit into one before throwing it out, as it just didn’t taste right/fresh.
The $20 Crystal Scallops plate…I ate one, with lots of sand in it. I ate a second one=more sand. I’m done with their Scallops.
The veggies were a bit undercooked, too.
The chicken teriyaki was just ok (I’ve had better almost anywhere).
Even the duck sauce wasn’t as tasty as it once was.
Last July, they were awesome. Today, not at all.
I will not be back, sorry.

I wanted to sit down and eat in a nice place, and I had only eaten from Gourmet Garden once before (a friend had ordered us take-out). It was delicious that time, too.
After eating in, I felt a review was necessary.
We went in on a Monday evening around 6:30pm (7/16/24), so not too busy.
There were other patrons, and some orders on the shelfs for pickup.
We were greeted and seated as soon as the hostess finished with the customer ahead of us.
I had just enough time to inspect the table, silverware, and placemat for cleanliness (all was spotless) before our waitress introduced herself and gave us menus.
The waitress was awesome, I’m sorry I can’t remember your name! (Amanda was her name, as I remembered upon my numerous in house meals before tonight’s take home.
You are great, Amanda. I wish you the best!!!)
We ordered 2 sodas.
She served them to us almost instantly.
I immediately spotted the carbonation through the drinking glasses (not something that I see often in my dining experiences ).
We started with the crab-rangoons, which were delivered to our table in just minutes.
They were cooked to perfection and tasty.
In my opinion, they could have had a bit more crab taste, but still yummy.
We ordered the Happy Family (B9), the Crystal Scallops (Sf14), and pork fried rice.
I was quite impressed how quickly our order was delivered to our table. I knew something had to be wrong…but I was wrong!
Everything was hot, smelled incredible, and tasted wonderful.
We dove in before I started taking pictures (the crab-rangoons weren’t so lucky, lol. They got eaten before I thought of taking pictures!).
Some reviewers complained of too much salt. Not in our food (I don’t like a lot of salt and almost never add salt to anything).
The duck sauce was superb. When you see me drinking it, you KNOW it’s good!

Now let me tell ya about their fried rice…
As a rule, I dislike fried rice. Mostly because–at least in my experiences–VERY FEW places actually make GOOD fried rice!
I could eat their fried rice by the truckload!
Hot, steamy, fresh, delicious.
Certainly not hard, dry, or bland, like many others!
I was so delighted by my experience at Gourmet Garden that not only did I give our waitress a 30% tip, I thanked my friend who introduced me to Gourmet Gardens, ranted about how great EVERYTHING was for the next hour, and finally, wrote this review the next morning!
I love Gourmet Gardens, and will be back soon! Update: NOPE, I’ve been back many times since 7/24, but tonight, 12/25, was my last time.

Wanted some American Chinese food takeout for a quick pick me up from a pretty stressful day. We stopped by Gourmet Garden to try it out and ordered some classics.
It’s located in the Village Shoppes in Canton, super cute area. They’ve got a few restaurants, an Urgent Care, spas, shopping like Marshall’s and the LOFT, gyms, grocery stores, flower shop, toy store, nails and much more. Love the convenience!

HOT AND SOUR SOUP
I absolutely love hot and sour soup, but this was super bland. I was pretty disappointed by how it lacked a slightly spicy component and sour component. I just wish there was more flavor and spices in it. If it had been labeled as special egg drop soup I think that would be more appropriate. Would not get again.
PU PU PLATTER
An assortment of favorites, the best way to have a little of everything in my opinion. The pu pu platter came with a deep fried egg roll, fried chicken wings, crispy chicken fingers, beef teriyaki sticks, deep fried shrimp, and boneless spare ribs. The egg roll was delicious, perfectly crispy with some tasty minced pork, carrots and cabbage. The chicken wings were golden and crispy when you bit into them, but man was that meat juicy and well brined. Just delicious. The chicken fingers had the perfect crunch when you bit into them, but that batter was light and you could tell they were fried in new fryer oil. Just perfect. The chicken was moist with just enough salt. So tasty. Beef teriyaki was just classic, saucy, well flavored and tender meat on a stick. Doesn’t get any better than that! Deep fried shrimp was tasty, the batter was spot on and the meat was pretty tender. The sweet dipping sauce went perfectly to complement all the fried goods. Boneless spare ribs were sooo yummy I always put them on a spoonful of pork fried rice. I’m telling you that’s the way to do it! So much flavor and perfect ratio of meat in that bite! Loved their pu pu platter.
CHICKEN FINGERS
Gave these babies their own spotlight picture because these were some of the best chicken fingers I’ve had this year! I love a good crispy chicken finger, but I noticed that most of the time the batter will be deliciously crispy and have the crunch I want, but the meat was dry and unsalted. This was not the case the meat was moist and lightly salted and the dipping sauce in your mouth was just amazing.
PORK FRIED RICE
I’ve always thought of pork fried rice as one of the GOATs in American Chinese food. You have everything you could want on rice, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, BBQ pork, scrambled eggs, onions, bean sprouts, and chives. Their pork fried rice was well cooked and seasoned. Every bite was just delicious and so nostalgic.
It was pretty busy when we arrived to pick up our takeout, but everyone was having a good time all around us. There’s Chinese food, Japanese food with sashimi and sushi, and hibachi for an interactive dining affair here. Quite an all inclusive restaurant, very impressive. The staff were really friendly and quick to attend to us. Would definitely come back again to dine in!

After spending a $100.00 for dinner for my family I ordered online chicken with broccoli with white rice dinner option for myself. When I got it it was mushy not cooked well chicken with broccoli and other vegetables in a white sauce. When I called and inquired about the chicken in broccoli supposed to be in brown sauce with just broccoli as I got this from them 2 weeks ago in brown sauce no problem, I was told you have to check off brown sauce for that option. I did not have the option to check it off with my online order and asked if I could get what I expected and they told me there is nothing they can do about it because unless you check off brown sauce their chicken dishes are made in white sauce. This information is something you should make sure is on your online menu. Very disappointed and a waste of $20.00 meal option that tasted nasty which I ended up throwing it away. Very disappointed in the service I received as I frequent them a lot.
