It is absolutely sickening how expensive this place is this is what they consider a large rice and then when I called and asked them how this is considered a large rice. They proceeded to tell me that it’s supposed to only feed one person. I asked them. what a small rice looked like and they said half of that container. What the heck do they think that I would be ordering a large race to feed one person I will never ever in my life give these people my money again, not for nothing, but the food was terrible. The rice was clumpy the beef and broccoli. The vegetables were hot as rocks, the carrots, hard as rocks, the broccoli, hard as Rocks very disappointed in this place in mind you they charge me $70. For three sushi rolls, a large rice that looked like it could feed one person and a beef and broccoli. All I can do is laugh at this point because I think it’s so pathetic. Why would somebody order a large rice to feed one person and assume that it would be this small

I eaten at this restaurant few times and had takeout but that was few years ago, it was very good for the most part. Yesterday.y family decided we get takeout from their, what a mistake it was you should change your name to Gourmet Garbage, how dare you serve such sloppy disgusting food I know of fast Asian food restaurants that makes better tasting food. Youe noodles were unbeatable over cooked, rice and all other dishes we got it really made me angry. It’s obvious your kitchen crew has no skills whatsoever. Thai Cafe in lynn is ten times better. Or maybe you should order the food from Mei Lee in Salem on canal st or KiKi’s on Boston Street have your chefs try and try to cook something like it. Or maybe consider to bring in a Brazilian crew to teach your Chinese crew how to cook or better yet just go out of business and do us all a favor. Finally to the ignorant owners ” have eaten your own food??”

Wow . I am genuinely astonished at how every item in my order managed to taste so unappealing. It’s difficult to convey just how disappointing the flavors were. I ordered white rice, shrimp egg foo young, pepper-fried shrimp, and what can only be described as very artificial-tasting and looking chicken.
I had high hopes for this meal, especially since it was quite an expensive order, and I intended to enjoy it for lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was so unpleasant that I simply couldn’t bring myself to eat any of it. It felt like a form of culinary torture. I strongly advise against trying this place; it was truly a dreadful experience.

Waiter was taking so long to take our orders. Waiter bring pu pu platter without rice. We waited for rice in 10 mins while pu pu platter get cold! First time and last time to come in this place.

We used to love this place but since the new owners took over the food quality has continually gone downhill.
The service is always good but all of the food has no taste. The hot and sour soup was one of the best but now lost flavor and sometimes comes cold. The beef was always so tender but now grizzly and poor gravy.
We are through with this place.

Very disappointed, we asked for the fried rice to be spicy (to use chili oil or something similar), instead they put what tasted like Louisiana hot sauce all over it. The General Gao chicken portion was very small for $18 (about 10 pieces of chicken), and the crab rangoons had too sweet of a taste, almost like there was added sugar. We picked this place because the reviews were great, it’s a shame the food wasn’t as expected.

Wow, we had such a great experience at the Gourmet garden. We typically order take out, but decided to dine in because the interior is so nice. The service was so friendly, efficient and the food was so fresh and delicious. The place was busy and I can see why. We’ll be back again soon and will include karaoke night!

Food was cold, chicken teriyaki was very tough, not fresh, obviously cooked previously and slightly reheated. Chicken fried rice not hot and the portion for a large was way too small. Egg rolls were cold .
Spent almost $40 on rice and 2 appetizers. Priced way too high, and not fresh!
